    I ferret once or couple of times a week in the season but out of season they don't get worked but still give them plenty of exercise letting them walk round my local field or just playing in there cage. There's a book called complete guide to ferrets by James McKay will tell you all you need to know. Brian Plummer has couple of good books also. As already said try get out with someone before you buy all the gear so you know it's for you. Atb mate

    I use a 210 tracer filter clips onto lamp by 3 clips I just snap a clip off comes of Easyer

    start them off on a small warren and if your worried they will leave you put some bells on there collar and you'll here were they are. Unless you can ferret open feilds then you can see were they are.

    The best of lurchers ive owned earnt their stripes with some dubious practices.The facts are that id not advocate anyone to sink to the level that some do to introduce a runner at its quarry,ive never introduced a lurcher to early,ive often introduced them when the practice of introduction would make many folk shudder at the lengths ive sunk to.Ive sunk to sewer levels to introduce a reluctant enterer.Id leave any sapling until it was at least 7 months of age and then spend every working hour introducing it.If a dubious practice was the best way to educate a reluctant student id be dubious,id

    run electric line above your fence and that will be the end of the scum trying to get in. Hope you catch the b*****dstthe electric fence......how would i go about doing it ect.....? FT....... get it off eBay or go to a horse type shop yous thin electric fencing get the clips it goes through to keep it off the fence. Wire it up to the mains or a battery that's up to you. You would have to put signs up stating the fence just to cover your back if anyone Tryed to sue you

    I just put a 12v converter in there and use a 12v 12ah battery runs for couple of hoursCheers lads Could I use a car battery and attach some clips to the wires on the drill ? no not unless the drill is 12v and plus you wouldn't need a battery that big and heavy. Like I've said I use 12v 12ah battery that last for hours it's little and light and doesn't break your back when carrying it about.

    it has been done before think there's a video on YouTube of one. I use a 240v electric strimmer motor does the job.

    you will know when your dogs mature enough may it be 15 months or 2 years old. My mate had one and it didn't mature till it was 2 half years old but then did them regular from that age
