    Hi, Ive just bought a brinsea 20 eco auto. How do you find it? Cheers Oldred terrible for me get 20/24 but they dry out whilst hatching but its just my house my friend borrowrd it and hatched 21/25 i am using fiema 50 auto and getting great results with that I have just tried mine and having the same problem, chicks drying out and the shells are sticking to them. Not very happy at all. Got any tips?

    I bought some warrens 6 weeks ago P.O.L, one has been laying for about 2 weeks, but the eggs have not got any bigger since day one,but nothing from the other five, they have setteld down well, and seem happy, the lad I bought them off fed the on mash, but I put them on laying pellets, could this be the problem

    you ask for advice yet when its given you seem to know it all any way, so why bother?? There are risks in all forms of hunting, whether its rock or earth, its your choice to enter your dog where you please. Who are we to tell you what to do and what not to do? Good luck and keep your dogs safe as best you can.

    The point was I am a novice on my best day. There is a ton of practical knowledge here that a person in my shoes could probably benifit from. There are types of hunting that I feel qualified to speak on. This isn't one of them. That's all. What ever other hunting you do and have knowledge of, why not stick to that rather than something you know very little about and put you dogs at risk? A dog shows nothing but loyalty to his master, and puts all his trust in him so why dont you show some respect in return and alow your dogs a chance of a comfortable retirement after a lifetime working, t

    Isn't that not what the lakie was bread for originially, rock work on the fells being narrow and leggie, I worked a lot of rock in my time, and been very lucky, the only time I come unstuck was when we had a little bitch got stuck on a ledge, it took three days to get to her, that give me time to think, I dont think of a dog as a tool these days, I have more respected for my dogs

    If you can try anglesey, there are some good spots there, I hunt through winter and fish from spring, had some good bass last year and a few sea trout, good luck

    your entitle to your opinion, but....... you obviously dont know how i opperate......... , i will openly admit, i'm not a numbers man, and just happy to be out doing my bit, and keeping the land i hunt over under control, i am more than capable of taking numbers, when needed, and with regards to carrying gear, i have drop, off points where i leave my rabbits, to pick up later, as i'm not in the upto date world of 4x4's and quads to carry my equipement and its not dead bunnies the dogs are after..... its the smell of fresh meat and blood and guts, as i said gut mine at the end of the day, ju

    I gut my bunnies first chance i get when out hunting, reason being,they are a lot lighter to carry,but makes no difference if you gut them as you go along,or at the end of day/night
