    Funny you should mention Makral.....used to fish off the beach here regular and get buckets loads of um in the summer months....still have my spinning rod....if the tides are right a might head out fri night and bag my self a few for the freezer Thanks for the Number Tyla

    She is on raw tripe and Burges lurcher mix.....but she has dropped weight after her season down from 19kg to 17kg slowly getting back up now. runs on sand, down land, and casual walks in the park on pavement and grass so is mixed ground? must have running dog vets in my area with the dog track in Brighton so i'll do a little research.

    Vets verdict is a little soft tissue damage....no signs of bone or joint trouble...thats a relief !! lots of rest and short lead walks for a week and a course of anti inflam.

    Actually looking at the 2 pics on here and going through a few on the computer ...she does look a bit flat on her feet !!

    Best guess is Saluki x Whippet but ive only had her a year and her history is a bit sketchy....22" high.....as for curved back a assumed as non racing whippets have curved backs it came from that ? She is booked in to a vets Mon am ....not sure he is a bone specialist but comes highly recommended by a friend with working labs....so I'll see what he has to say. Thanks for the advice

    Food has always been an issue with her. would only eat raw tripe when i got her......she will take a little Burges super dog Lurcher mix in with it now....but thats all I give her. What would you suggest re supplements ?

    My bitch ...best guess 4 years old after having a low season...off her food etc...seems now to be getting injury after injury. Im not running her just light walks and she seems a little lame at the front today.....and always stiff on the back legs getting up. Anyone else have a prone dog....what do you do to keep them in good condition ? My link

    She wasn't in good shape when i got her.....she may have had the stamina there but was very under worked...spent quite some time locked in a shed!! after getting her on a better diet .....getting a little meat on her bones she is doing very well. for me she is a great dog regardless of catching or not ......but i can see how much she likes to run at game.....she comes alive so i would just like to see her take one every now and then? I have no great ambition with her as i got her late.....netherless.....would still like a dog that haddles well....and does or at least tries to do wh

    Hi all ......new to the forum. Have a quick question i have a Saluki Whippet cross........like most sleeps all day but is very active while out on the downs, loves to run and chaise. she is just coming out of season and has turned into a depressed, unmotivated, moppy dog......wont eat, shows no interest in going out etc. has anyone else experienced this ....... will it pass or is there something more serious ? Ta
