    hi lads just want some storys on your best days fishing,mine has to be leighton res up on the dales, for the trout ,what a day i bet me and my pal had 24 each what ever we threw in it just got banged everytime , just letting the fly sink for a bit while trying to light a cig was difficult,good laugh though but i have had some poor days there aswell.atb

    Thats it bud, just got to cross our fingers and hope for a better season next year. And make do with what you got meanwhile... All this talk of a cold snap, is too little too late in my opinion, it might nip the VHD and mixy in the bud, but it wont bring back the numbers that have already died. true,with the wet weather and everthing else at em its a bit late now ,numbers will be low and tbh its warm enough for them to start breeding ,end of feb i normally stop, ican remember about 5 years since me and my pal were ferreting on boxing day and we were pulling pinkys out of nests.

    well fingers crossed for a better season on rabbits next season. I think we have done more ratting than out else so it hasnt bee a complete loss
