  1. You would be better off raising this question with a shooting and hunting organisation like BASC who can give you a definitive answer. They will be able to give you an answer that is both correct and legal.

  7. I don't know how else the pellets going to come out of the rifle and hit the target................... And I've yet to find a PCP that lets me brake its barrel ! Do you mean they should be pointing the rifle at a safe location with the safety on until they are ready to fire at a target ?

  12. Its just something I've always done removing any dented pellets from the tin before use, must be a confidence thing for me. its a basic..look at the pellet then shoot that pellet.. its one thing yu miss out on when using magazines. i actualy meant look at the similarities in pellet shape from brand to brand, you might start to see the ones that will work when your shopping for a new type. things like length and angles etc. Yeah its surprising how much pellets look alike from different brands until you start looking at the shape, size, length and thickness of the skirt.
  13. If you can get to a local club mate it would be best to have a try of several rifles to see what fits you and go from there Budget depending also mate, But the Huntsman is a quality rifle if it suits you you could also look at getting bsa ultra hw100kt air arms s400/s410 etc all deadly accurate when matched to the right pellet. and all relatively lite weight rifles One thing to consider is shot count if you are doing hft then you will need 30 consistent shots in the sweet spot plus a few extra for cease fires etc and some zeroing shots prior to comp start, but again not a problem if you get

  17. But definitely not the RSPCA or RSPB !
  18. Very true Simon but sometimes restoring a rifles shooting ability but not its external appearance can help with value. Although this depends on who the valuer is and also on if you can source original or make exact parts for it. Defiantly needs to be looked after though.
