  1. I recommend that you give The Running Man a try, it's a great read far better than the film and also give the Hunger Games Trilogy a look they are a fantastic set.
  2. Are talking any Sci-Fi or just those with a Fantasy element ?
  3. This thread must of been started by a Guardian reader as its full of left-wing anti establishment bollocks ! Whats up Suzy Rose are you still waiting for the Reds to march all over Europe to turn it in to a paradise...........
  4. Thats the sad thing if it was to happen most people in England wouldn't notice or give it much thought, unless of course it meant paying more money.
  5. You Irish are a backwards bunch, how else do you think we could afford to give you Potato-Heads that big old bail out..................... Come on be truthful you lot wish you were still in the club with the Queen as your head of state ????????
  6. It's always worth stripping a decent power tool down now and then to give the thing a good clean out, you'd be surprised at the crap and dust that's inside ! The ammount of times I've had triggers seze up or lock on due to a mixture of grease and dust.
  7. What do you need to know, a little more info would be helpful ?
  8. Out of interest lads has anyone done a comparison test against something like a Chrony F1 Chronograph ?
  9. It's not a bad show to be fair and at least its more countryside related, far far better than that big headed crusader Jamie Oliver !
  10. Most exported Air Rifles can be tailored to the individuals needs as long as its legal in his country of origin. As the lads have said for shot count go with a Buddy-Bottle type rifle and have fun.
  11. Not banjo players by any chance are they ?
  12. About as pointless as you asking pointless questions and expecting a sensible answer, but if its advice you want hears some for free. 1. Dress smartly and have a clean up (No combats or baggy tracksuit joggers i'm afraid) 2. Research the local area (You know look for farms and land on maps and stuff) 3. Approach the local landowners and farmers at a reasonable time (Dusk till Dawn isn't suitable) 4. Ask for permission to shoot (...............................................Time he will take to reply expect to see cogs and gears turning over) 5. Get knocked back (Well you are a
  13. £900 for a spotter & £600 for the NS200 thats a combined total of £1500 ! Nite-Site need to start getting more realistic with prices on digital NV if they hope to bring in customers, especially when the competition in the digital NV world are starting to churn out cheaper units that perform just as well. The new Yukon Photon 5x42 at £400 or Nite-Eye 500 at £490 are just a couple of products I can think of that have a cheaper price tag and still give fantastic results. This is coming from someone who owns a NS50 and was seriously interested in this new spotter.
  14. Muck Boots or Hunter Balmorals mate but the Hunters aren't cheap !
  15. Can't be any worse than this one.................... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAXIDERMY-FOX-HEAD-MOUNTED-ON-A-SHIELD/221292593034?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D286%26meid%3D1813460702470522114%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D111174015522%26
  16. It just seems a waste to me when Air rifles cost so much more and the fact that if you decide to give up you ticket your not allowed to lower the FPS setting for the rifle. I see you point around livestock though.
  17. In English that means what............? Because to me that roughly translates as " I'm thick as f**k " !
  18. Can I just throw a spanner in the works here and say what exactly is the reason for choosing FAC Air over FAC Rim Fire ? For a start .22 Rim Fire rifles are a lot cheaper have a hell of a lot less to go wrong with them and don't require charging every 20-30 shots and are unbeatable at knocking down small vermin at decent ranges. Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking Air, far from it as it has it's place in the Sub-12 flavour around barns and livestock and I personally own a couple. But for the hassle of going FAC Air you may as well go the whole way and apply for FAC Rim or above. Of c
  19. Some lads get on alright with the Birchwood Casey Cold Blueing products but your need to really prep the area to get the best out of it. If you search some of the restoration threads on here your see lots of success stories.
  20. To my eye she's one ugly looking beast but if you like it thats all that matters. But could I ask what the point of a bullpup air rifle is, your not likely to need it in a APC any time soon and it looks like it would be a pain to reload quickly ?
