  1. Have you noticed that the Rose Hips are starting to redden already? No mate, but I don't eat the rose hips so a bit ignorant to them, LOL. Had some lovely Damsons about 3 weeks ago mind and Hazelnuts are dropping. Just shite for Blackberries, but still a bit early. I often make Rose Hip jelly.
  2. I don't think your get a answer any time soon mate, he hasn't been on since April........

Christ! I read that in the voice of Hannibal Lector Haha If it's not a very dark shade of Pink its way over cooked! I must admit that if I could pick guests from fiction for a Dinner Party he'd be up their at the top! Although I'd be less inclined to attend if he was the Host...................
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong but don't all the Ultras and Scopians have the same barrels? AA Fields are what I call my test against Pellets! Start with them and see if anything is better for that rifle. Although both of my BSA SuperTen Mk III's which are separately chambered in .177 & .22 both have a massive bias for H & N Field Target Trophys.
  5. Haha I've got a CZ 452 that's also a deadicated left hander seeing as I'm a cack hander, I've had it for a bit just haven't bothered posting about it. It looks lovely sitting with the SuperTens and the Mossberg in the gun cabinet!

  7. I also missed the crop this year and only managed to gather enough for making Damson Gin! They are great for making Jams from but you have to be very carful that you check them for maggot infestation which nearly % of the local crop near me suffered from this year!
  8. When I took my 2002 plate Ford Focus in a couple of years ago the car dealers didn't ever look at the thing just offered me book price!
  9. Good for adding to Jellies and Jams are Hawthorn Berries.
  10. Sure it wasn't a Damson? They look nearly identical except that Damsons are much larger and don't taste bitter like Sloes do. thats what it must be i tought it was a slone or sloe sorry i dont no everyting like you tomo This is what a Damson looks like mate.
  11. Love seeing Rats piled up like that, working the Dogs on them is something I've always wanted to try.
  12. Alright lads I'm considering shortening my .22 CZ 452 Barrel and was wondering what you would consider a useful length before the disadvantages out way the benefits?!
  13. If my Permission is cleared and suitable then I'm not going to mess about, the CZ 452 is coming out! However they are still like you say very useful and valuable in areas that contain livestock or poultry or in places that are built up like barns or stables.

    Horse Meat

Very tasty cut of meat that's best fried with rock-salt & rosemary served up Medium-Rare with a light salad garnish and olive oil dressing and squeezed lemon. Yum yum
  15. Apart from the spring load mag its a straight forward "pull back and let go" system....not the silly button on the front and pellet probe on the back, what makes it so bad I'm confused? So it's the Ultra SE then and not the bag of shite Ultra MMC.
  16. Does it come with "Made In China" stamped on it?..?! What is this fascination with Air Rifle Bullpups anyway are you planing to wage Armoured Warfare against those dastardly dangerous Reds otherwise known as Rabbits...............!
  17. For fucks sake not everything is about the Poxy Scottish referendum!
  18. Sure it wasn't a Damson? They look nearly identical except that Damsons are much larger and don't taste bitter like Sloes do.
  19. I seriously believe that the man had a massively overinflated opinion of himself and sometimes used to argue a stupid and lost point just to get the last word in! I've also had quarry like Rats crawling away after using lower powered Air Guns where I've unfortunately missed the Head Shot and the resulting energy transfer to the targets upper body mass wasn't enough to put it down long enough for a follow up finishing shot! Not a nice feeling when you know something's gone off to die a painful death.......
  20. So after rereading this old thread I still belive that my points are valid and still hold up.
  21. Urggh no offence but why??? It's got to have one of the worst cocking systems in the PCP market! Each to their own I guess!
  22. Are you talking about Re-Bluing the metal? To be honest as long as your Rifles metal parts don't show any signs of heavy rust I'd be half tempted to leave it well alone, sometimes Re-Bluing even with the so called easy treatments can leave you with a Barrel in worse condition than when you started. Especially as you'd be removing any existing Bluing on the rifle first before adding the new treatment. Also seeing as it's not a massively expensive Rifle with a high resale value, the money outlay for what seems like a quick and simple task could soon mount up! Just my opinion t
  23. If I could I'd carry a Minigun around with me filled with Tracers! LOL
  24. I admire anyone who can create something thats pleasing to the eye to look at and especially when its a hobby for them, thats brilliant.
  25. Your not old chap It's just that Tiercel never understands jokes...............
