Welcome to the forum mate, I have only heard of people working sprockers no actual experience but I've not heard anything too bad, they usually have good temperaments and are keen to hunt. How about speaking to local gundog trainers on their views?
Hi Mate, the best thing is to go into the gun dealer and ask what he would recomend.I have an old aya s/s so I use bismuth but they are hellish expensive. I got mine cheap at £15 for 25. So i use them sparingly. I also bought a escort semi auto steel proofed which i find brilliant on all sorts of quarry and at a good price.
Good Luck
I have 2 springers and a lab. My brother in law has a working cocker, she is intelligent as they come. I love working all of them so when you get your pup enjoy the training and working. Somebody told me " You have to tell an springer what to do but have to ask a cocker" wether its true or not i dont know but its fun finding out!!!
