i said in court the other day that we were on our way back and was just browsing the fields, looking at the fields. I said id heard rumours about the gamekeepers not being very nice `rob the nob` and to endanger a young child in any such action would be irresponsible. If i get the judge that i had the other day, in my trial, i reckon he seemed to see what was goin on.

got there today at court, waited around, received my statement, from the officer, OH MY GOD, WHAT A LOAD OF BULL S@?T!! The fibbin little piggy as made up all kinds of crap, sayin we left the vehicle, went into a field, and that we said things we didnt, total loss of all respect for the law its a fookin joke, pleaded not guilty and have to attend a trial in june, there was two lads there today, been stopped by the same officer, in the same place, and low and behold, their statements were up the wall aswell, dont know how they got on i left them my number to find out, reckons he was sittin ther

ive got no working dogs for now, had to get rid of me pye line lurcher just before christmas, it killed me birds 6 yr old cat and had to go,brilliant dog though, had the oppurtunity to get it back this weekend but ive lost me licence and needed to get to anglesy,plus it would cause major grief between me and the missus, the young first cross in the pic with my girl will be ready for this season.

I was after knowledge of any one who had been charged for a similar scenario, not smart arse remarks. Sorry but what you have put above is rubbish. no way would a copper no matter how green he was would try and push this through a court! :wacko: Ill find the summons and put the exact text on for yall doubters, i might add i thought it was ridiculous and a joke but when you get a summons you get a summons. i beleive you i got nicked

ok here we go 14th November, was searched under section 2 of the poaching prevention act 1862, were found in possession or articles, namely two lurcher type dogs with a handlamp and battery pack, which you had used for unlawfully killing or taking game, contrary to section 2 of the poaching prevention act 1862,

Must have been his fog lights or full beam. No way can you get done for side lights or dipped. It would need to be a right f*****g arsehole to fine someone £70 for lights on even if it was fog lights. It was a newly assigned officer to the area ,for this purpose, and your right,ar@;"£$e, had to beg him as we had a 12 year old with us not to prosecute the kid. On they way home after a rabbiting mission on permission in southport, we were driving through altcar, having a look at the fields with the lamp. we never left the vehicle or entered any fields . As we were leaving altcar we were stopped by lancashire police, who proceeded to confiscate our lamp and summoned us to court on the 3rd of may. Surely we cannot be prosecuted for shining a light from a vehicle on a public road??
