  4. Just keep up the handling pal, i would recomend that you handle them for at least an hour a day when you 1st buy kits, i take mine inside and let them play with us in the house then most of time they have a little snooze aswell find this helps a lot we getting em used 2 human contact, they all nip at sumk point pal but with regular handling shud soon fizzle out
  5. Kept albino ferrets for years up until this year when sadly my old jill died and now ive just got 1 of her daughters left and 2 new kits i bought in this year and to be truthful that albino was the best ferret ive ever owned she worked brilliantly and was the tamest ive ever had, bck to the point neva owned an albino we any of the problems above and ive owned a good few

  8. True but you cant mistake 1 of mone we all the bloody scars on him and i dont want it bein void if anything does go wrong cos like i said had to pay over a grand out in probly last 6 month
  9. When we were shopping around, there were plenty for around £5 per month with no excess BUT to my mind, the deal we got was a couple of pounds more per month, but over the year was say £24 (Might be £8 per month we are paying, not sure would have to look). £24 worked out cheaper than £60 if you see what I mean. John Who you with John if you dont mind me asking
  10. Ive tried a few but as soon as you say there workers they either say we dont cover them or it goes up to bout £30 a month which i thinks a bit steep, guna have a look at a few that you lads have suggested cheers Phil

Yeah i remember Rocky1 and the vet didnt do any test to my knowledge on the milk the bitch is feeding it but i hav just bin and bought sum substitute puppy milk from the vets tonight just to make sure he is getting enough, slept bout an hour last nite coz the bitch was well outta it and wasnt really helping him to feed so i was up all nite showing him the teats as he wasnt getting the hang of it, shes a lot better we him today tho now shes come round from all the drugs, its guna be a good few sleepless nights ahead for me tho just hope everything goes ok

  19. Sorry for your news mate, but at least you know that surviving pup is going to have the best start. My bitch lost 3 pups when she had a cesarian but luckily 6 survived. Out of interest how old was your bitch and was it her first litter? She was 8 pal and it was her 1st litter but i did ask the vets advice before breeding her as i thought she would be past it but he said she was in good nick and maybe it was not ideal age for her 1st litter but he didnt see a problem occuring, but ive paid the price for the risk if this 1 turns out as good as his dam and sire it'll be worth it be the deares
