    each to their own mate yes id heard the saying only hunt when theirs an r in the moth but we all no the climate as changed and sum times theweather is a lot warmer now than back when hunting wasnt a hobby but a way and means of living personaly ithink that if you poaching for meat to put on table then yes do it when the chances of getting milky doe or in young rabbits then do it in winter months but if you doing it as i suggest most on here are as a hobby then why not hunt when you fancy it people frown on hunting out of season but my view is do it when and where you can as you never no what

    went out lastnight with me 11 1/2 month old bitch pup she is 24 tts and her breeding is bull greyhond x bull grehound with a touch of saluki tossed in this was her first outing and she caught 3 bunnies out of 5 slips i was proud as punch as this bitch didnt have the best of starts i mated a bitch for a lad on the condition igot a pup in return which at 6 weeks old turned up like a bag of bones as wormey as fck and looking sick took to vets that teatime and 2 days later got her back a long with masive vet bill she was supposed to be living outside with the other dogs but the wife took pity
