  1. THE ONE.. Thanks for the feedback, After this pic i took a look at 5 other rabbit livers carefully and every one of the had the bile duct on them and when i pearced the green bag a greasy liquid came out which just backs up your comment, I also talked to two other hunters that i met and they too said the same thing so thanks again. MARKHA.. As for the other picture it does look like tapeworm or a cyst and thanks for the link, I went by the old saying, if in dought throw it out, Cheers
  2. Hey folks, i came across this when i was gutting a rabbit in the field and i've never seen it before, Can anyone tell me what it is. Seems to be some sort of growth on the liver. I've edited this as i got a message from a very helpful person who raises rabbits from http://www.raising-rabbits.com'>http://www.raising-rabbits.com He said... The big green sack is definitely a gallbladder. The gallbladder is attached to the liver by the bile duct. If that liver had not been contaminated with cysts, you would pinch the bile duct with fingers and simply pull it and the gallbladder away f
  3. Ok cheers, Its going to get bbq'd this saturday hopefully if the weather allows it,
  4. Hey folks, i was just wondering if anyone could help me out, i gutted and skinned a rabbit yesterday and left it in salt water over night (which i heard you were supposed to do) and when i was taking the backstraps off it i noticed a number of blood spots on the meat that i havent seen before, they seemed to go into the meat instead of being on the surface of it. Is this normal or is it some sort of disease, the eyes and liver of the rabbit were fine. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks
