    I made it out of a red plastic poly pocket. Cut it to size and just place in the filter holder. Its perfect for ratting but i did find the green and amber ones worked as well.

    Totally agree about the red for the P7. My homemade red filter was much better.

    The Falcons were on my final list for a new scope but they are too big and heavy.

    Cracking gun. Pair it up with a nice compact scope and you will have a great hunting rig. Im a little jealous.

    What is everyone's favourite all time scope ? Mine is an old Simmons (Deerfield i think) 3-9x40 circa 1997. Simple, a basic 30/30 ret but by todays standard the optics are pretty poor. I just seem to shoot well with it despite the rattle it now makes. It lives on my old 99 and is only used for plinking but has filled the freezer many times. And by the way, it has always kept its zero.
