    One of ko shamo hen out of eight is laying an egg per day. lol

    Need birds gone asap. I have another three ko shamo hens available to make a good breeding group of 1 stag & 5 hens. one pure white hen and two white/splash hens.     Im selling a few of my birds to make a bit of room. Trio of unrelated o shamo at 6 months old. spangled stag and mottled pullets. They are still growing and will be big birds when fully mature. £70 ono. Trio of unrelated ko shamo between 8-11 months old. white duckwing stag & wheaten pullets.     I use to make my own feed up for quails, I had millet, chick crumbs, dried mealworms& wildbird seed. thats a good mix for quail! or if your looking to fatten them up for the table, feed them turkey chick crumbs. you will see the difference in a couple of weeks or more. they double in size well quick.

    I fed my two stinkers with a raw chicken drum each yestaday, this morning found them both hidden in there bed area? why havent they eatten it? I also feed them ferret biscults. but they usually eat any meat I put into there hutch. Cheers Milly.

    pal Incubate your quail eggs using an incubator, i wouldnt use a broody from my experience. for meat & eggs - sussex x cornish/indian game or cobbs r best for meat & brown warren hens are good for eggs. milly.

    i just throw in a chicken carkess from sunday roost now and again, they just strip it clean within minutes.

    Yeah thats a garage door, but i have pens built below what the stag is stood on. so hes not that big. lol
