  1. i walk my pup roughly 2 miles every other day, hes 16 weeks, when i get around to taking him out he will not be walked prior to lamping just let out in the garden for a slash. but i will gradualy increase the distance when he gets to about 5 months
  2. i asked the same question the other day, and the response i got was nmixed some say 6-7 months other say soon as its allowed out, i think the main thing is train it, make sure it has all its basic commands and definatley a good strong recall, then id worry about taking it out. mine is now 16 weeks has a brilliant recall and very well behaved so he will be coming laming with me from now on only to watch though will not run him for a long while yet. il start to run him from about 9/10 months but slowley on easy rabbits
  3. walk as close to them as you can when they bot take they bolt take the filter off, and all dogs have there own way of dealing with game, does she have a confident strike?
  4. working on a saturday!!!! would much rather be out with the pup

  5. That pic is when I had him he looks nothing like that anymore, I put the picture up just so you get an idea of his potential it ya get me, and I mentioned about getting rid to him an he said he was thinking about selling him I said he has to go through me if he does I will find a home, bottom line is the dog isn't being looked after as I expected for a start he's never being walked so he miserable as shit, just as anyone else would if a dog they got rid of wasn't being looked after I just want a good home
  6. its my brother whos got him and it was given to him with conditions

  12. Haha that's exactly what he said to me thought I'd put it there, I just laughed and said me pups 16 weeks old and hardly has my teeth
  13. My mates old man tried this with a bull x, he managed to slip the muzzle and grab the ram and killed it.
  14. Doest live near a road his house backs onto woods, if it had internal injuries extensive enought to cause death surely he would have some sign
  15. when i posted this thrad i had a bull x, a dog which was set in his ways and had been hit alot, to the point he pisses himself so i wasnt sure how to go about punishing him, hes now gone to a loving pet home, and i bought myself a pup so any faults in the new dog were my own. i have not hit him once, a stern voice and if nesessary i scruff him, i found the worst i had to do was house train him if he piss or shit on the floor id scruff him and show him it and take him out, and that worked a treat for me. when we are out he will not run up to any dogs walks right by my side and will only play if
  16. as title says, mate found this dead fox in his front garden, not sure what happend to him though, had a bit of mange bus no signs of any injury or bleeding or anything, think he just picked his plot??

  20. I think 5 runs each and whoever hits the highest number out of the 5 runs takes it then do a sudden death if it's a draw, that makes more sense
  21. At what age do you lot start taking out a pup to watch, not for any runs but just on the lead watching other dogs run? Mine is 16 weeks would it be too early
  22. one i had recently said if you keep an eye on the farm at night (because i can see the fieilds from my house) i wont give you permission but i will turn a blind eye,
