tried using this set-up, gave up when it would`nt focus below 100 yards, was told by someone who was well into photography that i should have rigged up some sort of reducer on the front of the scope to bring the focus closer, mite try it sometime (nv was behind the scope) would have been good on a rimfire tho
bought a cheapo from uttings, used it mainly to back up what the mk1 eyeball was telling me, now its redundant (find it takes too long to rangefind, put it down, pick up gun, aim, by the time the bunnie has legged it)
when his head is right there is nobody who can get near him, hopefully, if he does take a break he will come back in the right frame of mind and show his true class
go for the honda between those 2, the suzi is built to a lower price and it will show on an older car, find a honda thats failed a mot on the rear arm bushes, buy it cheap and then just slap bushes for a rover into them
got both guns, very different to shoot, main thing between them is shot count for me, take 40 good shots with the s200 and god knows how many with the s400, never kept count with that one, its got a pressure gauge so just refill that one when its low. best advice i can give is try and have a go with both and buy the one that suits you best
good luck with choosing and enjoy whatever you get
unions certainly killed off the british car industry, most of my memories of the `70`s were leyland being out on strike nearly every week, and because the workers were being paid what would be a good wage even in this day they never had any money to invest in new models, even the ital was only a rebodied mgb, god they made some crap cars
just goes to show how money makes a difference, any one with what they call over there a `public attorney` would get locked up straight away but if you have money you can have a date set to suit yourself, some parts of the yank system i agree with but this takes the p*ss, do the crime, do the time
seen plenty of people on this forum and others asking for help, if you put a rough location on your profile or in your request you stand more chance of finding someone local to you who could probably give you more assistance than just putting in a plea for help, and sometimes face to face advice or even finding someone else to do something for you will be a far greater help than fu$%ing up a job yourself
sounds like its getting past the olive, undo the nut and on the pipe about 6mil from the end there should be a raised ring, try wrapping some PTFE tape arround this and doing it back up, if that does`nt work or the raised ring is closer than that to the end of the pipe then replace the olive and retry
if there was a single answer to this question half the posts from newbies would vanish, there is no real answer to this, every gun (and barrel) has it`s own preference, the only way is to get hold of several brands (and sizes sometimes) and test them, the only thing that may make life easier is if you put your rough location in your profile there may be someone close to you who could give you a selection to try for free
why do you think our votes will make any difference, they turn up at your door every election time promising all sorts and as soon as they get in pretty much all of them do an about face, think what we really need is the opportunity to vote the b*stards out when they dont deliver what they were voted in to do, when we get that power it might change the way the two faced b*stards behave
why is it that the dog lads get pissed off over foxes being shot, if they could keep the numbers down themselves the farmers would`nt get narked at the losses and call the shooters in, after all controling fox numbers is what the land owners want, not providing sport for us, only protecting their livelyhood
i`ve had no problems with the AA kits, my .22 has had about 25-30,000 pellets through it with no hassle but the .177 had to have a bit of fine tuning, it was over-indexing but easily adjusted, best thing about them is spare mags are cheap so i fill 4 mags and when their empty its time to refill the gun as well as the mags
spent hundreds of pounds with uttings over the years, last time i tried ordering anything i got so pi$$ed off at all the I.D. rigmarole that i told them to keep the gear and went elsewhere
