    good gun in the right hands with the right pellets, i think your making what could be a large,costly mistake asking for opinions on guns on a forum as large as this as there will be a fan of every gun made somewhere. the way you should be going is trying out as many types as possible to see what suits you, there is no such thing as a perfect gun that all can use,there are only guns that some find easier to use accuratly than others, yes there are some that should not go anywhere near a hunting situation but your budget should rule out most of the crap, another thing you need to budget for is

    i think the fact that they sometimes fetch more than they cost new on e-bay speaks for itself, handy small portable unit that can be used anywhere, works out power itself, the only thing you need to input is pellet weight, i`ve also got the chrony f1 which is also a good tool but the disadvantage with this is you either have to work out your own tables for the pellet you use or have `druggie scales` and a calculator to work things out although i believe there is 1 version of the chrony that does let you input some data then it computes the figures itself

    lot of weight variation, use them in my s400, pinpoint accuracy but the daystate is sheite with them, only snag there is i got 2 packs from jsr so the 400 will have to be used more often (5,000 per pack)

    only used premiers myself (the ones in a cardboard box) in .177 so cant comment on .22`s, but whoever told you about tumbling air gun pellets was talking bollox, do you think lead that was that soft would stand up to being tumbled, they may get some sort of clean, but tumbled, no way

    they go on for ever the old shape transits.................. no they don`t, theres that little actual rust proofing on them they fall apart with rot, not done much work on the veedubs but the body work is more robust, as far as the mechanicals go, service history is king, if there aint one, walk away (same for the tranny, modern motors wont take the abuse that the older motors would) oil changes are a must and no matter what it costs, use the right spec oils, if your not sure, look for the castrol website, they have a good search facility on that , just have to put in the reg number and it

    its not fac (fire arms certificate )you need, its rfd status (registered fire arms dealer), you may find that no matter what profit margin your offered that when you take into account the paper work and security precautions that its not worth the hassle, maybe you can buy the guns in your own name and then sell them as used (on paper at least) and then would not come under the vca regs but i think this is a risky road to go down

    been there, both shoulders done in the last 3 years, only thing i can add is follow what the physio say to the letter and you will get back to some sort of normality, push too hard and you can make things worse than before surgery

    another one is the time we went to the national folk museum in st asaph, wishing well with huge security guard(we were school kids so he looked huge)watching over it, went round corner and there was a fire alarm switch, cue elbow through glass and t-shirt off, after vanishing round the corner to count our gains we found most of the coins were foreign, what a waste of a ducking

    you will get as many answers to this question as there are makes and types of pellet, the only answer that really counts is what will work in your gun, no simple way of finding that out except putting pellets down the barrel, best tip is, if the pellets are cheap and they look inconsistant then they are probably not worth trying

    used to have some shit hot 2 part epoxy glue, stick a 5p coin to the urinal in the pub and see which pi**head would struggle to get it, surprising sometimes who would win the coin

    good work on the stock, nice job on the metalwork as well but i would have used satin black spray on the metal, what did you do to the stock?
