nothing new, always needed a rod licence, not sure if there are still 2 types (migratory fish and coarse) then you needed a permit from whoever held the rights to the water, never heard of needing one in any salt water or tidal water though.

they should look back to the time of WW2 when the population was far lower and we were totally reliant on convoys from other countries bringing food in, back when most gardens were turned into veg plots we still could not grow enough. cold weather does not just lower battery power availability, it takes energy to run the battery heaters to try and keep them at ideal temperature, they pretty much have their own AC/heater system, good to see the manufacturers kicking back a bit against the greenies, wonder if governments wil back down if faced with mass redundancies when/if a couple of the big names go bust through not selling enough motors?

All well and good them saying its to reduce fossil fuel use but petrol and diesel are not the main uses of crude, there are far more important products made from it so total demand for crude is not going to go down any time soon.

Don`t know if they are spoofs or not but there are a few vids on the tube announcing that a couple of the big manufacturors are stopping EV production due to poor sales, one thing that would reduce this polution B/S would be to stop this bloody stupid horsepower race, make something thats economical, reliable and cheap for a change and to me it would sell itself and feck the politicians and their distorted aims.

one thing to remember is DVLA is now (and has been for a while) being arsie about reregistering vans as campers unless it`s done from new, so if you use one of the larger vans it`ll stay as a class 7 van for testing (all campers come under class 4 regs)

vandal that uses stencils springs to mind with Banksy, undoubtidly has some talent as an artist but if it was not for the lurvies exalting him he would be yet another would be artist working in another job to survive, visit a decent museum and look at a few old master artworks to see true talent, more so when you think of the materiels they had and how long their works have lasted.

got it due to a slipped disc squashing the nerve, gabapentin worked well but the side effects were not nice, pregabalin is nearly as good and less problems, both of them are nerve signal blockers rather than pain receptor blockers like the codeine based drugs, booze and green did absolutely nothing.

Culling animals that are alien to a country and the numbers are high is something that is neccesary and as long as the kills are quick and clean I have no problem with be it camels, pigs or even cats and dogs, the only bit that does irk a lot is the meat is not then used be it human food or pet food, hell of a lot of steaks on a camel!

Red eared terrapins, loads were sold as pets after that mutant ninja turtle film, loads got dumped as they can reach a fair size and live for years, high risk of food poisoning if your hygene is poor and they are kept in a tank, mate has his in an outdoor pond and as long as it don`t freeze solid they do OK.

Don`t know what happened there but if a thread like that goes t*ts up whats the bloody point of posting anything thats not about dogs or ferrets. been on here quite a few years now and things have changed a lot, used to be a bit wild with the banter but it was mainly just that, banter, now too much just ends up with the same culprits getting into an arguement that goes on and on to the point where good people just end up saying sod it and leave.
