    2.7 is an old school diesel, fairly robust if a bit prone to cooling problems, the 3.0 is a common rail engine, chain driven so no belt BUT nissans don`t like missing oil changes, check the older 2.7 models for rust and later ones for service history

    if their £3 a tin or have SMK written on the tin stick to ranges below 25yrds and don`t bother with the sample packs on the `bay, you want spot on accuracy then you have to do what everyone else has to do, shell out on a few different tins and try them (and if you find a good one get your arse back to the shop and buy as many tins of the same size and batch number as you can, different batches can vary and you end up starting the whole cycle again)

    one of the early systems had 2 sensors/emitters mounted by the number plate, used to pick up the signal from a camera and bounce one back that was far more powerful, sent the speed camera into reset mode giving you time to slow down, haven't seen one for years
