  4. You got my mouth watering with the woodland shots, it really is the BEST sport to ferret rabbits in woods, if there's anything better I've yet to find it!!!!!!! not everyone's cup of tea i suppose, but I love it .............there must be some canopy cover there keeps, as the undergrowth is very sparse!........Nice, i can't wait for the winter to really hit home so i can get in the woods, at the moment round here i can't even SEE any holes in them, the cover is soooooooooooooooooo thick!! :11: Good fun for the dog in there.
  5. Mike.............. :11: :11: ........I don't half like your purple top :11: :11: :11: .........listen boyo.......you never dress up for me like that :11: :11:  ........... Pup looks leggy for her age .......Nice

  10. I didn't think the wife did too bad .......I think it's all down to being in the right place.........which she seems to be thinking a bit more about now......so i have no doubt she will just get better slowly but surely!! Mmmmmmm???????????..........Well I know she'll do rats & rabbit really well, She has a bit of a temper on her if her backs up, but as fox's, & deer aren't Legal quarry I reckon i'll keep her just for the humble coney ........I have a farm not too far from me that gets a bit of trouble off deer, & he's asked me to 'do' something about them, so i'll just have
  11. :11: :11: :11: @ Stabs...........BULL X :11: :11: ...........you should have come over stabs for a chat it would have been nice to chat again........I think the last time we met was at the waterloo cup.......& i enjoyed talking to you......as i thought you were very 'straight talking' & knew your dogs good & bad points.......so used them accordingly......shame you didn't give us a nudge ..... Don't tel the wife that it'll go to her head :11: :11:
  12. Went out ferretting with the youngster again the other day, and asked the wife to come along to get some 'action' shots if possible, while i was concentrating on the dog................told her just to click away till her hearts content.......1st. mistake...... :11: .......after nearly 250 exposures :11: .....but thought well it don't matter, but after deleting most of them .......sorry dear........some weren't too bad for only her 2nd. attempt with the SLR......I'm just pleased it ain't a film camera...........it would have been £50 for development.......the bitch is doing very well for t

Looks a really nice type Bd...............& looks as though he knows his craft, bet he catches well on the scree!!! without any damage to himself!....... which is ALL important in the ferretting game, he also seems to have a bit of leg.........looks about 23"?........Nice!
  14. Was out yesterday morning for a few hours, and took Mike's gill what he gave me, her second time out and she did exceptionally well, she wasn't half just moving them about, She had one in the mouth of the bury and was VERY calm as i took her out still attached to the coney, I'm WELL pleased with her........oh the bitch didn't do too bad either :11: :11: .......So i'm sure the one you have Gav will be spot on!!!!!!........not got any pics. yet really as i am a mere bloke, and can't multitask :11: .........but priority is in 'making' the dog yet, pics..... will come later :11:
  15. Gav........try to get a proven worker as its not the best scenario if the pups marking and not getting to see the fruits of its labour so to speak..........I have to say its ok to feed ferrets very lightly before the days outing IF they know whats what........if they are fecking around though keep 'em hungry........ you can always give 'em a piece of kidney later if they start to slump a little........if they STILL feck about.....................well........
  16. Its really painfull when you bite your tongue like that :11: :11: :11:
  17. Well a few weeks back, Mustilid off here came up to visit with his youngster, and brought with him a new gill of Mike off this site. Now Mike had not only bred this little beauty off his best stock, he also made sure it was very well handled,(as it was no baby when i got it), reared it exceptionally, then sent it on up.........and he got quite IRATE when i offered severence for this little worker, so i quickly shut up, as he is MUCH larger than me!!!!!!!!!!!! She is showing good promise and works very diligently!!! so i'm WELL pleased! I have been VERY!!!! thoughtful when naming her
  18. Nice ferret box Mac....................looks familiar Your hob looks nearly as big as mine they do have their uses, late on in the season........when nowt wants to bolt He looks well.
  19. I ain't no tree hugger..................and i feckin' hate lentils ......and i may be a bit naieve on elec. collars.........but i can't think of a reason to justify their use myself and we should be able to justify ANYTHING we do........but i will stand corrected if you can persuade me Charlie C ................... NOW if they are to be used for sexual deviences............WELL thats another matter  :11:

I have never seen this before, and must have sounded and looked a little wierd!!!  when i asked if i could photograph this abnormality!!! , she looked at me and said WHY????????
