I've had the same problem again. Only just been able to get back on since yesterday tea time. It's says too many people using the site error 500. There must be a load of guests then because there never seems to be alot of members on at once. I remember when I first joined there would regularly be 4 0r 500 folk on at once on a weekend.

I've got no where to fix a false swallows nest to my house as it's got about a 8" thick of insulation around it with a chipping coating. I wouldn't be able to get a screw long enough. It's a old concrete house built as a temp in 1940 by the army I believe. I've built a blue got box out of dome old ply since yesterday though.

I always loved my winters for my hunting trips but the last couple of seasons me old mind sets changed a bit, I now look forward to the spring/summer days. There’s been a pair of house martins/swallows trying to build a nest by our bedroom window last summer which they have got no where near finishing. I am hoping they will be back this summer it’s. Had a pair of blue tits nest in a bird box on the neighbours side the fence post just 12ft from our back door it was a pleasure to watch them feeding the chicks, what a busy pair of parents they were. The neighbour said there was 6 chicks in the

Time flys, I can’t believe bucks coming upto 8 allready. I can remember where he caught his first rabbit followed by another 2. Yep busters 9 now and the other dog in the picture is a young bitch I got on loan at the moement with the option of owning in the future if she pans out o.k. Charlie lives with a lad on a estate across town who only goes out a couple of nights a week he had 2 and a half years of my time before I had to admit defeat and except he just wasn’t right for what I needed.

There’s was a old boy some years ago now by me who use to take his greyhounds out by the side of the bike with the leads on the handle bars, that poor bugger got hit by a car and was no more so it’s something I’ve always thought about trying but steered clear of for that reason.

With the corona virus changing everybody’s social life and the little shits being off school we have a daily walk across the field by the house. We follow the river up one side and down the other it’s only a short walk but it takes a while with the kids in tow. you can travel a good distance further and it makes a nice summer walk with the dogs as there’s plenty of places they can jump in and cool off.

gov movement restrictions ie pup movements??
trigger2 replied to gibbo1973's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
Preventions better than cure as they say. Only reason I keep my dogs boosters upto date is because when we go off on holiday I put the dogs in a kennels, up until last few years I only give them there first jabs as a pup. -

I got a phone call from my vets yesterday they have cancelled the booster for my old dog on Friday. They are only doing emergencies only. They did say that when the time come they would restart the inoculations at a reduced price. -
Same here error code 500 it keeps saying on all my devices, internet is fine with everything else

Just shows how a dog can come on first season by seeing plenty. Good variation of terrain also makes for a well rounded dog.

pure greyhound as a steady worker??
trigger2 replied to gibbo1973's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You will have some enjoyment out of it mate, the one I spoke about was a pure grey bitch she was tattooed but just never seen a track and was brought up like a lurcher. -
Took me a second or 2 before I got that. About the 4th time of reading it the penny dropped?

They will probably crumble when caronavirus is over its amazing how fast counties started to find there boarders to control folk coming in and out that’s signs of each for own, brexit was definitely the right move and this virus may well prove it. I think no matter how much coranavirus costs our country it will be small to the cost we would have to pay if we were still officially in the EU and forking out for everybody else in there.

That made me laugh, I like the 2 ronnies and four candles

There’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get a the dog to be steady imo mate. Show any dog enough and it will steady down. I’ve been out with one a few times that was steady, seen it catch 10 rabbits on the lamp one night. Also seen it turn it’s hand to another task just the once. -
?. Even they will jack on you.
