  1. Had dogs with them on and off. Only really had problems the once, dog ran fine until he was 3 then started pulling up and practically looked to be a jacker. Effected his ability to jump at times also. Had them off the dog never looked back again. (Busters) Off is the best I think but it wouldn't stop me from buying a well bred pup with them on.
  2. That’s not a bad idea mate. I will look into thanks
  3. Well gates up. I am a bit annoyed there wasn't any black bolts in the local hardware shop. Open the gate and the kids are in the local park.
  4. Gates made just got to hang it. That's a job for tomorrow when it's delivered. Also the house Martin's turned up yesterday and have started carrying out the work to finish the nest they started last summer.
  5. I had a dark brindle bitch. She was a good size for a herder almost 24tts she was very ball driven. I had 2 young children at the time and she fitted in a treat. She guarded well and was a joy to be around on the whole. Have a read up on internet about them. I've only had a small amount to do with them. I brought in as a adult from a sucurity dog handling firm. She didn't cut the mustard for them for some reason.
  6. What about looking into Dutch herders.
  7. I think you mean It's the idiots that are f***ing the game up mate. I always thought a good poacher leaves little or no trace that they have been there.

  10. What's on paper don't always work out in the field, I hope she works out as I've struggled a bit lately to find a lurcher to fit my needs. There was a bloke up the woods that I thought was you from a distance bird. The way he was stood dressed and carried himself it screamed out bird, bit it wasn't lol.

  14. After being wiken by a blackbird in the garden at 4.10 am this morning and with the restrictions eased a little I decided to go for a walk with the dogs and take the motor to our destination. It's been a while since ive travelled as I've followed the corona guide lines having a young family. Cleared the frost off the screen and away to go. The dogs got to give there legs a proper stretch also.
  15. It was on radio1 about a hour or so ago that there is a good possibility that we will have to live with corona being around as we do with other members of its family group. It may well be something we will have to try and manage as like other members of its family such as the flue we may not be able to find a vaccine. Don’t ask me who was talking about it as I haven’t got a clue lol.
  16. A bit more done this afternoon, Concrete post removed. Dropped the material at mates for him to make me a gate to fill the gap.

  19. I've always thought I don't believe in God and Jesus and shit mate, but subconsciously I must do. When I was going for a emergency brain op. I remember asking God just to give me another chance I ain't ready to go yet. Then hey Presto 2 weeks have gone by and I was out of intensive care.

  23. What’s folks thought on this man. I’ve been watching him a little lately and although some times I agree with much of what he says I think overall he’s a bit of a knober. he has said this morning that he got a covid test done which he’s entitled too has he’s a key worker. Am I missing something here since when has sitting behind a desk pulling holes in things been a key job.
