  1. A bit more done this afternoon, Concrete post removed. Dropped the material at mates for him to make me a gate to fill the gap.
  2. It certainly is a funny old life.
  3. You would of if me head was shaved to answer your original question I very much doubt you would know you was dead.
  4. I've always thought I don't believe in God and Jesus and shit mate, but subconsciously I must do. When I was going for a emergency brain op. I remember asking God just to give me another chance I ain't ready to go yet. Then hey Presto 2 weeks have gone by and I was out of intensive care.
  5. Ive started to pull some hedge out and put a gateway through into the back field. Still got a bit to do yet.
  6. Who done the thread my next facebook victim I think it was called, that was one of those threads up there amongst the good ones.
  7. The best of it is none of those local have got a lurcher either lol.
  8. What’s folks thought on this man. I’ve been watching him a little lately and although some times I agree with much of what he says I think overall he’s a bit of a knober. he has said this morning that he got a covid test done which he’s entitled too has he’s a key worker. Am I missing something here since when has sitting behind a desk pulling holes in things been a key job.
  9. I prefer not to name names mate. They didn't do anything bad. Just used me to get some dog work on some of my permissions. Big promises of returning the favour to work my dog which never materialised. Shame really as they were nice enough lads just bloody users.
  10. Although there's been some shit talked on here over the years overall most the folk are decent enough. There's only ever been 2 lads I've met through the site I haven't got anytime for. When I first joined years ago a lad called fence hopper was one who could get wound up at the drop of a hat, you could have a good laugh getting him to bite.
  11. I live a few hundred yards from a slaughter house, I may go see them for some offal then. I didn't realize you can get it direct from them.
  12. It’s not just collie Xs that will stalk mate but in my experience they are the most likely and easiest to get to stalk. I’ve seen plenty other breeds do it but they have been heavily worked.
  13. Strong collie characteristics come through with that dog mate. That’s the way the dog may be for life now, I had a 1/4 collie dog do the same thing, partly my doing and just a combination of collie characteristics coming through. I found whilst out lamping if he started to stalk and I stamped my feet quick on the spot he would start to trot down the beam some more. Funny old lad that dog was but by feck he put some stuff to bed.
  14. I was watching the Yorkshire vet the other week and a chap on there reckoned there are more farmers/workers killed by tups than bulls. Not sure if that's true or not but I was surprised to here that. I expect the chap was killed quick with one of those buffalo loosing it.
  15. Have you got any other dogs living close to you? There’s not a bitch in season is there and he’s going back looking for a bitch. He might just be a fruity f****r and that my explain why he’s started going over to the other dogs also. Bitches in season can and will change a dogs behaviour when on heat even if the dog has experienced a mating or not.
  16. What size is the dog c green. I’ve been looking down different avenues for something different to run as what I like don’t get bred much anymore. I’ve did have me name practically down for a coursing bred pup but unfortunately due to some very unlucky circumstances the breeding will not be able to happen. Ive got a young bitch on loan here at the moement.
  17. I for one am looking forward to when the kids are able to return to school. I haven’t the foggiest how they will be sorting that one but when they do the time missed should be made up over the next year, There’s plenty of holiday time in general for the time to be made up.
  18. There’s a lot of work to be done there saltmoon. Energy in the garden is always well spent energy I always reckon. My garden is simple to keep as it’s just lawn and patio but I enjoy being out there always.
  19. Good gear with a good service. I use his leads to carry my rabbits on. Give him my measurement for my chest and they were made and sent to me fast. I've had them about 10 year and there still has good as the day he made them.
  20. You may be able to get a pup out of her yet mate, it’s worth a punt if you thinks she’s worthy.
  21. Yeah deffo mate, there’s a huge fur tree about 4 gardens down with a pair of pigeons nesting it could be from them.
  22. It would have been nice to of seen a pup or two out of him as he was a tidy rabbit dog in his youth.
