  1. Looking tidy mate. This little fella has been busy going about his daily tasks
  2. I don't feed the birds in my garden but my neighbours either side do so there's plenty of bird activity in my garden. Always got the blackbirds here. Seen my first lot of hedgehog droppings yesterday whilst mowing the lawn, we will be putting some cat food out for them tonight as we do every summer I've lived here.
  3. Nice to see the goldfinches. I’ve been in my place 2 years and have seen a pair twice last summer out the front. Are they regular visitors to your garden? Nice part of your garden that.
  4. With most of us being on complete lockdown I was just wondering if there was much being done in the garden. I've got a young family so my garden is just lawn to keep it practical for kids. Still a job or two to do yet though.
  5. That sure is some nice art work sandmere.
  6. I would do Rhonda. I ain't talking in a fight though
  7. The first day we noticed them there was a good 40 together the other day. There only small, kids pulled this one put the weir yesterday They have grown alot since we first seen them though
  8. I’ve never bothered mate. get a few fly fisherman down that stretch, I enjoy watching them some evenings to be honest. No doubt I will be putting a spinner through in the next few years to introduce my son to it.
  9. No mate to far up for that, get the salmon come through, I believe they spawn not to far up from me
  10. Get to see all that within a 1000yds from my house. I am lucky really.
  11. Nice to see the dogs out and behaving around the stock. Lambs can behave a little different to ewes so I always think it's good for a dog to get to see them from time to time.
  12. Had our daily walk up the field as we have been doing since lockdown and the sand Martin's have turned up for the first time today. They seem to be competing for the same hole in the bank. We've been seeing a few bunches of lampprey also the last 4 days. Family lockdown ain't too bad.
  13. You can chuck as much money as you like into buying a well bred dog mate but it don’t mean it will make the grade and be worthy of breeding from.
  14. Perhaps so, a pigmy maybe. I am still leaning towards a young male muntjac
  15. If I was to take a guess which I am, I would say muntjac
  16. If that’s not a Fray bentos pie then I agree??
  17. Fcuk me king that was 7 years ago. Did he put the frightners up you or something with that post ?
  18. They got some nice colour to them when you get close upto them. My uncle had a pet starling as well, the one afternoon his son left his phone on the side by the cage and by the time he got there to pick it up later that day the bird had already copied the ringing tone.
  19. We've had 4 or 5 bbq this year all ready, nothing too fancy just a few sausage and burgers for the kids. I love my bbq even though it's gas. We are lucky enough to have full evening sun on the back garden also so it all works out a treat.
  20. My misses is flat out at work so I am at home with the 3 kids which I don’t usually mind but it’s hard work as we are not able to get out and break the day up. I am really enjoying the evenings though I think it’s been real quality time as we take the dogs out as a family unit for a hour and a half to 2 hours the route takes. The kids are learning a bit about nature and seeing stuff they probably wouldn’t usually get to see so much.
  21. I like the look of the pup in bottom pic
  22. I was just about to start a fresh thread about this, mines gone all to fcuk again error code at times running very slow at other times.
  23. That’s what I was wondering chid. It was about the same size as the smaller dragonfly. It was in the river a fare way also.
