  1. Theres no where for the swelling to go in the toe mate, sometimes not always it helps to just clip the nail back like i said. Just touch the quick so.it starts to bleed slighlty and it can help take the swelling down and release any infection that can be in there.
  2. Did the vet cut the nails on the swollen toes mate? Sometimes it pays to cut them just enough to get into the quick and make them bleed it can help release any swelling.
  3. Blanked, rabbit wasnt my chosen quarry young dogs alot to learn yet. Hes getting there though
  4. . It bloody hurts sometime though
  5. That usually comes about from poor footwear or spending too much time on your feet. Its also called policemans heel lol.
  6. I bet its plantar fasciitis you have mate. Rolling a tennis ball about under your foot when sat down can help it mate. Also stand on the stairs with your toes on the edge of a step and drop heals down. Basicially go up.amd down on your toes, it will hurt but it will stretch the heel out.
  7. Ive had a interesting 3 nights out over the last 5 days. The dogs showed me hes got heart and bottle in some respects. Its upto me to guide him now. Only time can tell. Just hope hes got the minerals to keep his potential going.
  8. No cocktails for you today then mate
  9. Moons down its worth a venture out. Take things steady tonight.
  10. Your built for skipping over the top of the wet ground.
  11. Not to me mate as i am a all types of edible game man, if he does anything else when i drop on the odd one then thats a bonus as they are good sport and can turn like a hare, but its not the be all and end all for me
  12. I wouldnt be betting on him mate, just simply because hows hes been beaten and how timmid he can be.
  13. At least you got out there mate. I missed the good weather from lastnight as i was giving my dog a rest.
  14. Yes mate. They learn so much. Its a game to them and before you know it they start picking up the odd rabbit.
  15. Yes mate, both dogs worked off the lead. The pup chooses to run or not as its just a pup. The pup does has little or as much has it wants.
  16. Sometimes a dog not heavily blowing is not always a good sign. Sometimes there just to f****d to blow. Just be mindfull of that after a 6 minute run.
  17. Yes mate, didnt realise the misses had been out with him for a hour yesterday afternoon with the tennis ball. So hes had a good workout with both tennis ball and lamping session
  18. Yes mate the mali x. There was some sort of rabbits on the ground the night was has good as you could get. Rabbits running away from the beam, hitting hedges with good bottoms in and fencing like missiles. The dogs not exactly bred for pace and i could see his mentality changing like never before. Had the 6 month old pup running with him aswell. I got to the point where i decided not to lamp the rabbits, but has luck happened i came across 1 hedge in a field where the rabbits obvousily hadnt seen any lamp. Had 4 out of 5 judt to finish off. All interesting and a good learning course
  19. Good night for it, new spot plenty of rabbits that had been lamped alot. Ended on 13 very hard worked for rabbits. Its nice to have found a massive pocket of rabbits just a shame they seen more lamping than me lol. First time ive pushed my young dog like this so we shall see how he handles it. The humble rabbit when about in numbers can be a hard test for a dog both physically and mentally. Especially those rabbits that have seen the lamp plenty of times before.
