My terrier disappeared on New Year's Eve while out rough shooting. Very clever bitch, unlike her in every sense as she knows the area very well. I believe she lost sight of me, and was following one of the roads back to where we park, when somebody picked her up. Jack Russel bitch, rough coated, mainly white with tan patches on head and one on back. Scars on nose and under jaw. Good working bitch but very much a one man dog, will not work for anybody except me. So we have a fully furnished farmhouse, all bills and heating paid for, even dog and dog food provided. All else we need is a lad to take up the position. Once again we are looking for full time beaters for high class commercial shoots in mid Wales. The position on offer would suit lads that have missed out on college courses, can't find a gamekeeping placement, or those that are thinking about keepering but are not sure. Gundogs are a preferable asset, as is a driving licence, although this is not essential. Accomadation will be provided in the way of a farmhouse to be shared with any other lads. Beating will be your main job, although it will also include helping out keepering staff with their day to day jobs if need be. Good shoot, will be

We are based in mid Wales near Oswestry, we are looking for new beaters to join our team, with or without dogs. We are a good shoot, good atmosphere in beating team. Please pm for more details. Also offering the chance for a fit person, preferably with a spaniel or two, to stay with the head keeper, throughout the season, beating on his shoot twice a week and then on two shoots of the same boss the rest of the week. Pay will be for each day you go beating. So potentially 6 days at £30 a day. Dog food provided. This would suit a lad struggling to get into keepering as a career, or somebody

Hi all I m after a Russell stud dog to put over my bitch in next couple of weeks. I am after a rough or broken coated working Russell dog. My bitch is a good natured 100% worker! looking for a similar stamp of dog. Based in mid wales although willing to travel, will pay stud fee or pick of litter.
