2 x hobs missing from Ashford area - dark eyed white and a silverish one.

Also remember if you get kits you have about a year to save up for the neutering. Surely you can save up £100 over a year - only £10 a month really
-
If anything they work better as all the hormonal stuff is removed ( eg rather be looking for someone to mate then working etc )
-
what does the sound sound like ? kits can sometimes call for their mum when they are a bit unsure. Best I can describe it is that they kind of sound like a seal LOL
-
Well I wish I knew what was going on. I had a text from Izzyrabbits on tuesday asking if I could take 5 of the kits to handrear. I said yes and said I would sort a cage and buy milk replacement. So I wasted my money on milk replacement and sorting a cage and Ashley never got back in touch. Did not even have the decency to let me know that he had changed his mind or whatever.

Deffo be careful mate as chip board is put together by glue which is poisonous to ferrets when it become wet. And also tend to fall apart when wet allowing ferrets to escape -
Put a few posters up locally mate. Also worth contacting vets in the area as if someone find a ferret that tend to where they take them in a panic LOL Hope you find him again
-
I have a three legged ferret and she manage just fine - can walk and run just as well as a 4-legged one.
-
Ashley let me know if you need help handrearing some of the kits - i know how tough it can be to handrear a whole litter. We took some kits of you last year ( all doing fab )

A long long time - I would not buy 20 kilo just for 2 as the bag would go off before u could use it. They have the 7.5 kilo bags on offer as well for £10 so I would get one of them instead

Help plz. How do I introduce my hob to my new Jill?
Kent33 replied to B.P.R's topic in Ferrets & Ferreting
Glad he is with you where he can get a decent life. I imagine he is from last summer as well - its amazing how last years kits all of a sudden happen to be 9-10 weeks old when the owners cant sell them. I think they put it on the ads as more people want a young one and then just pray its some beginner who wont recognise that its older. So many people sadly lie about their age to shift what they cant sell/give away. Just pleased he is with someone decent now -
How long since u had him done ? He cant be used for 3 months after the op as he will still be fertile for that long. A lot of people wait like 6 months before using a v-hob after the op

Phone around other vets mate. Its expensive down here and I only pay £45 If there is a dog vaccination clinic in your area they will sometimes do ferret neutering cheaper as well. If not call around the vets in the area , its a very quick and easy op so should not cost much more then £50 top

They work just as well as entire do. It does calm them down but in a good way ( eg not frantic looking for a mate and trying to escape and so on ) Dont affect their working ability

the mum and dad are both mitts, so how can i get a polecat from to mitts? thanks for the replys guys Because 'mitts' are a retarded mutation rather than some kind of natural true breeding color type. Once mitts etc start to true breed, the next step is a f*****g mutant mess. Not quite sure why you are shouting LOL But I do totally agree and 2 silver mitts should never have bred with each other due to the genetic problems that can happen with silver to silver breedings etc.
