    I have a 9 month old bedlington whippet bitch who stands at 19" tts. shes coming on a treat. We are still training atm she currently chases, retreives to hand but not live which doesnt bother me its good to just have her bring it back, jumps to around 4 1/2 ft and retreives the odd duck from water to hand so i am very pleased with all our hard work coming good. She will never be slipped on bigger game so she is just a bunny dog. Im looking to start her full time this coming season as i think she will do me proud rather from the local walks to the woods ect.... ill get some pics up asap........

    Alrite mate looks like a nice good pup there Get ya hands on a copy ov purdeys progress cracking dvd for training.You cant go wrong! and take your training slow for now it has along future ahead of it and plenty of time for training just get to know your pup and vise versa and you can possibly have a very good ,keen little hunting machine on your hands atb mate and enjoy your final rewards mick..............

    been to the vets and they said it should be fine and the blueish glaze should be gone within a week and to clean it with salt and water thank god should be out on the mooch again soon and no more playin with rope cheers guys ........ mick

    wow is that your dog in the pic? mine aint no where ner lookin like that mate it looks normal apart from the blue film and a little more moist than usual she can still c but shall be getting he booked in asap. was gutted when it happened as we where just about to go out for a mooch ill try get a pic up just to show what it looks like

    my dog and i was messing around with my dogs lure and rope when the rope whipped my dog in the eye now she has a watery eye with a blueish film over her pupil will this clear up over time or is it permanent damage? any advise welcome guys

    Hi all just a follow up on a previous post about homemade lamps and as funds are low atm i decided to av ago and make 1 my self. Ive used a 8" 4x4 hella comet 500 spot light which i dug around for in my local scrappy i payed 10 pound for the pair in mint condition rrp 90pound + online so already on to a winner .A 12v 4 pin rocker switch and 2mtrs of 15amp cable and 2x crocodile clips 5pound for the lot. A H3 12v 100w bulb 2 pound posted online. Small roll of insulation tape and a soldring iron and a 1" plumming pipe at 7" long i dug out the shed and this is what i came up with what ya thi

    i have a beddy whippet 8month old bitch and a beddy greyhound dog 18 month they are superb dogs couldnt ask more from them verrrrrrrrry fast i shall be taking my beddy greyhound out this cummin season and see if all my hard work pays off. they both run bunnies no probs but only on my mates plot untill season starts then shall b put to the test on other land. atb mick ......

    iv been hunting since i was around 13 from bird trapping,cattying,shooting,ferreting and beating. for the past year iv being going out with my mate and his 2 bull greyhounds and learnt alot and have really enjoyed my self. now iv move on and bought a whippet x beddy terrier which has just turned 8 month and cumming on a treat im debating weather to have her out this cumming season but have been advised to wait till the following season where she will be alot more mature and strong headed what do you guys think? cheers mick

    oh right fair enuff chaps. thought i was missing something out that i should of being doing but if thats all it is think ill stick to my dogs diet shes on atm but will possibly consider the barf when she reaches 15 month+ thanks for the easy explanation...................mick
