  1. I'd be tempted to put some barbed wire along the top of the fence, or broken glass, then when they jump the wall, (police included) they 'd have a bit of a shock,,,, better still an electric wire all a round the garden.........perhaps i'm a bit brutal.
  2. he has hurt him self thats why is like that Sorry to hear that, whats he done to himself?, nice colour to. he was fine yesterday got him out this morning all his neck was hurting him and the top of his left leg ? dont no if he was fighting with the others or what should be fine in a few days I see, he might of just slept wrong, (like us humans,) hope he's ok in a few days. atb

  7. Cocker spaniel x Bichon-Frise very close, in fact you must be a pretty good judge of dogs mate.
  8. Met an old couple whilst walking the dogs the other day, when we came across this little fellow, have a guess what the breeding is? I would never of guessed. can't see why it couldn't hunt, ....... (If in the write hands), it certainly was keen on bushing. Go one folks, have a guess, NO PRIZE i'll put the answer up in 10 minutes.
  9. A very sensible answer, a lot of problems people have with dogs is,......... they just don't have any common sense anymore!! :no:imo.... the people, not the dog..

  11. I haven't been on here that long, but i enjoy reading about other peoples dogs and the way they do things when out and about, I've also found the STOP SMOKING thread very useful and of great help to me, cheers mods for doing such a good job.

  13. Cheers Aye, there must have been a tree rat in a hole up there and he got a good way up Got one here mate, straight out across a branch after tree rats, then splash lucky the bloody tide was in or he'd be dead now....
  14. A lovely write up mate what is it with these whippet type dogs thinking they can climb bloody trees sounds like you had a nice day out with the dogs.
  15. One of my boys, Trent, bought as a pure whippet but turned out to be whippet x beddy, sold to me by a woman just out to make money he's 8 years old now but still mad as an hatter and won't let up on anything his brother from the same litter but not half the dog of Trenty...

Personally i think more parents should teach their children how to act when around dogs, i've seen kids in the past that stand and scream like bloody idiots when the most placid of animals have come up to them,.. (especially the darker types) Children that is not dogs. I'm not saying that the owner of the dog isn't at fault, but some kids, and adults certainly need to be taught how to react when they come across Joe Blogs walking their dog in the park or where ever it may be...just my opinion on the incident..
  18. What about a AVON inflatable, pump it up when you get to where you want to fish, small outboard on the back or just row it.
