    I think that if i bred a litter of pups that i would be keen on letting a person of that age to have one either,.. the pups best interest would be my first concern, could they walk it, was it going to get the best care, other wise it might end up being passed from pillar to post, and eventually find it's self in a rescue centre, (like so many others),

    I think that was what the 79 yr old was so annoyed about, the fact that her friend didn't get an older dog, plus a breeder was prepared to sell a pup to, what sounded like a very frail old lady in the first place,.. By who's defination was this old lady frail? Or are they presuming because she's then she's frail, my Gran died aged 96 until a few months before she died she would walk a 1/4 mile most days of the week to bingo, wouldn't entertain a taxi or a lift. People live longer these days and where in the past 70- was your twilight years not so much the case these days, this count

    Interesting replies, but you can see the one person who replied, that didn't read the thread properly, I think the 79 was only thinking of her friends well being, the year old, falling over the new pup, and not being able to look after it properly, because she was so frail,. As for freedom of choice, imo that day as long gone in this Country, Paulas .

    How old is to old to have a pup in your opinion?, I was talking to an old lady the other day while out with my dogs, she admitted that she was 79, but went on to say how angry she was at a friend of hers who was in her eighties, lives on her own, and not steady on her legs, apparently, this year old had just got herself an 8 week old jack russel., The one thing that annoyed the 79 year old the most was,.. WHY DID THE PERSON WHO BRED THE DOG, SELL AN ANIMAL TO A PERSON WHO MIGHT NOT SEE THE PUPS LIFE OUT. Just wondering what some of you folk on here think about the point she

    That mark is much like Trevose Head, some days you will get all sorts, and others sod all,.. I personally love Trevose Head, but it depends on where abouts you fish it,.. you've got to know the marks that are not always the easiest to get to mate. we've had pollack to 7lb, but others have had them a lot bigger,(in the double figures) bass, S.E Ray, mackerel, of course, gars, my friends even had a few nice plaice of there to,.. Coast Guards, we call it in the photo's is not so productive but will still throw some good fish on the day. To the left of coast guard there's another mark called,

    In answer to the bloke waving or calling his dog up the track, you should take a look at the people who run their dogs every week in the non peds, the screaming that goes one when they are encouraging the dogs is deafening. can't see anything wrong with it myself, it's nothing different than guys standing on the side lines of a football match, shouting for their teams..imo.
