  3. I certainly will Malt but like you mackerel and pollack will probably be the only fish i catch as well. (not for the lack of trying my i add)
  4. Not much help from me on that one but most plugging rods are about 8ft, 9ft not your usual beach casters of 12 and longer,... anything that will cast a minimum of 2oz probably, with a small spinning reel. cheers i have got couple old beachcasters down in dorset, but im thinking a rucksack containing lures etc rod & reel wont take up much room for the week or 2 ayear it might get used Well if you do give it a go and you catch some fish......... please let us know.

  10. Do any of you fish for bass at night with plugs or red gills off the shore? Found this a very interesting read and might give it ago myself. http://www.whitbyseaanglers.co.uk/bass-fishing-at-night-plugging-on-the-dark-side

  12. Nice one, well done mate the first of many.
  13. The b*****d need string up by the balls hope the dog is returned.
  14. The problem with beach fishing for bass is that not all beaches fish the same, the beach i caught these fish on you only need to lightly lob the bait out, any further and you'll miss them You don't tend to catch many on here in day light..........BUT as soon as it's dark they come in to feed and then it can be non stop action I fished this beach the other week and had 6 but the bloke i fish with and (he was standing right next to me) had none. This is the beach in day light, but what you can't see in the photo is the dip just before the small reef. thats where the bass feed in
  15. Brilliant link Penny, dogs have learn't humans so much in the past that's why i get so pissed off when you here of today's humans ill treating them instead of learning from them...

  17. I managed 3 but throw one back because it was why to small to keep., but took the rest home. Shame they lose their beautiful shine after being left in a bucked of water for the rest of the night.
  18. Dumped by anglers, L.S.D's are a pain in the butt when your trying to catch decent fish. unless your on a comp then a decent size one about 3lb is a bloody good percentage.
