    See you've got the blurry background bit sorted then Yes, but i don't know what it was i did didn't do anything different........ must of been the camera. Set it to auto mode first and look at the settings...that should give you a rough guide to what your looking for...what set up you using? I've got a Panasonic TZ18 and i had it on auto then turned on the marco if thats any help.
