    Il admit to being a total novice when it comes to lurchers and although iv heard talk about the wheaten cross quite often its not a breed iv ever really taken more than a passing interest in till today! After a scan of a recent thread i did a quick search on google and found myself fascinated. To cut a long story short i wondered if anyone could put up a pic of a 3/4 bred if anyone has one to hand? If there has been some already on the other 14 page thread i apolagise but im on my blackberry and it is just too much hard work to try read 250 posts without a mouse and real screen ha! ATB Wally

    Being new to this game my most important dog is my bitch Honey shes a 4 year old bullx dont no her exact breeding but shes heavy maybe more bull than grey. We dont take much and one rabbit on an earlky morning mooch makes my day! Probably seems pathetic to some of you lads but hey im teaching myself and the seeds sown. Il be after a colliex soon and i cant imagine not working owt ever again...... ATB Wally

    My bull is 5 eighths 3 eighths reverse so she was never gonna be a racy dog and most of time i spend out is on golf course. Iv resigned myself to netting hares or takin 177 for them rabbits mate. You need a really quick dog for them on there. Nothing to trip em up or owt. Lads beddy whip misses most on there an its wick. All good fun but 2 fast fa mine. Boys goss does alright tho. If your into shootin or birds great... Otherwise id say a small whippet or 3 quarter bred for golf course jobs....ATB Wally

    Alright ppl jus to say hello im new! I hunt mainly rabbits an hares near my home in West Yorkshire. Im 24 and have a dozy bull cross which lives in. Im hopin to get myself a three quarter bred collie cross maybe or just a bitza soon. Im glad i found this site as none of my mates are into dogs or hunting really. I do a bit of air rifle work and snaring too, on the sly. Lee
