  1. I have heard of this happening but not quite the same,a one in a million David mate. Martin
  2. I can assure you that it is true, although if it hadn't been told to me by the person that did I'm not sure I would of believed it so you are not alone there. Martin
  3. Why do you think he was doing it?
  4. I would like to apologise on behalf of the wankers on this forum that just post a load of shit most of the time, and I hope the dog is ok,it can mess up some dogs, but if you give it a bit of a lay off for a while it should help to get the juices flowing again when he gets out again.Mine have both hit fences in the past as there are a lot of them over here, and they certainly don't like goiung too near them now,but they still work ok............good luck mate. Martin
  5. A friend sent me these pics of a VERY BIG tom cat that was running with this dog fox for a month or more(seen by the farmer and my friend)they were eventually trapped 'together' as he doesn't have a rifle to do the job,and duly sorted, but my question to all is....have you ever heard of a fox running with a feral cat before? I guess they must of been sharing kills, and it seems they were very happy to be around each other as they must of entered the trap together......weird!! In the trap, and as you can see the cat is still alive at this point..... Put together to show how big this Tom

    early ?

I think I have that beat as the local Sand Martins were here around 10 days ago,and that is the earliest they have showed up here,no Swallows yet though. Martin

  8. They hacked into my account and they felt so sorry for me that they put some in.
  9. I don't get many good heads on my permissions to be honest, but they do seem to be getting better as time goes by,and I didn't get the head measurede as they wouldn't count it for a medal, not that I am interested in medal heads really I just enjoy the stalk. Martin
  10. I use a Nikon D80 with a 70-300 lens with VR,if you like malforms here is one I took in velvet and not on my permission, and a piuc later when I caught up with him on my land.....lol
  11. Jason, for the best insurance bar none(fact)and the best responses to your problems then look no further than S.A.C.S. which is the Scottish Assoc. for Country Sports, and it doesn't matter that you don't live in Scotland they will look after you if you need it...that is what we all need.I have been a member of BASC in the past and was with them for years but when needed they were extremely lacking, but SACS has never let me down, and pricewise they are at(I believe)£35.00 full membership. Martin
  12. Yes you are right Tess,he did get quite near though on his second run in.....lol Martin
  13. Here he is partially cleaned and looking a bit like Bob Marley with the dreads, and as you say was malformed to a point where he would be known as a 'Murder Buck' as the extra tine comes out towards the front and could do some very serious damage when sparring with another Buck.I haven't seen him since, and that was maybe 5 yrs ago(?) Martin
  14. Here's a couple more .......... And a Muntjac with fawn for good measure......
  15. I had a delivery of timber today to make a canopy roof for the walk-in chiller, and the delivery driver made quite an impression.......... Martin

Marijuana is detectable for at least a couple of months,so you better hope you don't get randomly tested
  17. Why woukld you want a dog like that if it wasn't to look like the 'Big Man'?
  18. No wasps down here Bob,too many Chub anglers that dig the nests,I used to dig them yrs ago and sell them at matches for £5 a nest, very profitable.
