plenty about mate. Mines off a working background on mother side out of sooty sam and fathers a scottich derby champion racing world. You could try looking at whippet archives or the K9 forum. loads of whippet folk on there if you want a racer. atb
you shouldnt be feeding cat food to dog for a start......can damage kidneys if prolonged use and ultimately lead to a blind dog, and thats what my vet told me (and hes a mate), as for legs looks likes its bowed slightly, pups still growing and at 5months take it easy running with big dog, lets its bones set fully and if your really concerned take it to vet. my ten pence worth said. atb
seen a few ridgebacks run, one was running with my whip and showed a heft turn of pace, good stamina, would be a good cros and would keen too see the pup if u get one. they taken the ridgeback red colour?
just watched it on 4OD certainely an eye opener......left me wanting to know if that guy ended up going back and getting the guys who attacked him with a machete?! certainly makes you wonder how people drive around in audis, range rovers and dont appear to work, while while hard working people struggle to make ends meet to provide for their families and dogs!
know a guy who has a whippet x lab, very clever dog, with a natural soft mouth, retrieves to hand. quiete fancied sticking mine across it in a few years but hes decided to get her done.
sudocream for the elbows, ues it all the time on dog and misses uses it on her horses too for scrapes cuts ets and can be used for exzeema. as mike said, cooked chicken, rice, pasta, some veg, plain food and get him wormed if not been already.atb
dont always go out on land or permision where i can take it, looking for one i can walk with. i wonder if i can get a cigarette plug to wires type connection then all i would need is a bettery?! cheers lads some more investigation to do. atb
as the title says lads. not got much cash after xmas but need a half decent hand held one. use a lightforce for out on the quad but need something when im out with dog. Seen one on A1 decoys thats a full kit but not sure if its worth it or should i save up or make my own?
some look good, if your just starting out try using the sport mode setting for shots of the dogs running, get better action shots and also remember the rule of thirds. pictures should have the horizon on bottom 3rd line and top 2 3rds sky etc. just a few tips. you can also use a bot of blurring to give a better sense of movement too. keep taking them.....the joys of digital is u can always delete, not like old days when you got a packet of photos back from boots that were sh*t!
took this pic in sport mode!
