i went out with the longnet on friday night i tried a couple of places where i new rabbits would be and placed the net where they normally run through the day but sods law the 2 rabbits that i seen ran the oppisite way away from the net i really enjoyed my night out with the net even though i didnt catch anything ill just have to have a re-think about my approach and hopefully ill catch some rabbits next time. atb

i got the book longnetting from peg to peg on friday its a really good read im about half way through it so far. ill be having my first trip out soon with the net at night ill keep you posted on how i get on atb

does anyone on here know moxy personally if so could you please ask him to contact me iv been trying to pm him for awhile now but my messages dont seem to be getting to him the last contact i had with him he said that my box would be ready to post mid week it just needed varnishing that was about 2 weeks ago i think his message box could be full thats why my messages are'nt getting to him. any help with this matter will be appreciated thank you atb simon

what a complete tit he is hunting dragonflys with a bow and arrow iv seen it all now, although it was quite funny when he was missing all the time atb

i dont know anyone who is into longnetting so ill just have to give it ago and learn it myself i think it would be easyier if i had someone to show me where i was going wrong but ill give it ago and see how i get on atb pal

thanks for all the replys to be honest with you i wouldnt be expecting to catch first time out netting at night as im only new to longnetting and it took me a while to catch a rabbit when i got my first longnet off tiercel but i purservered and have caught quite a few in it now. i think ill give netting at night ago and see how it goes. ill definatly be getting that book before i go out with a net though atb

hello there i was thinking about having ago at longneting at night so im wanting to know how hard it is to net at night and which is the best net to use quickset or traditional im pretty new to using longnets so any advice would be appreciated thanks atb
