    there a really good spade for ferreting with iv also got another one the same size but with a longer shaft but i prefer the one in the pic its just the right hight for my daughter to as she likes to be in charge of the spade. atb

    thanks tegater im trying to get at them before the mixy cleans them out im going to try and get out again this weekend hopefully but things are a bit hectic at the min as im in the middle of moving. atb to you and your lads for the season

    yeh thas the one pal there a good little shovel for ferreting with i used to use a great big spade when i was younger but now iv got that one ill never go back to the big spade. atb for the season pal

    i dont know what make it is pal i bought it from my local iron mongers for £11 about 7 year ago its a good little spade atb pal

    cheers pal it was good to get back out and catch a few but i dont think its going to be a very good season due to mixy being every where. them ferrets are mother and daughter (last years kit) the kits turning out to be a good little worker hopefully it will be as good as its mother. atb for the season pal

    i desided to have a couple of hours out ferreting on sunday with my daughter & nephew we went to a place that has just started with mixy most of the rabbits looked ok but theres some thats riddled with it we started off in a little strip wood and the first couple of sets produced nothing got to the fourth sett which was a 6 holer we entered the ferret and a few seconds later we heard bumping then rabbit number 1 was in the net with the ferret right behind it the ferret went back down and after about 5 mins rabbit number 2 bolted out of a little bolt hole on the other side of the fence i

    i always feed mine when i get back in from lamping found that if i fed my dog then took it out after a couple of runs it was sick atb

    im starting this weekend as theres mixy just starting on some bits where i go ferreting so ill try and have a few days at them before theres none left but on my other bits where theres no mixy ill be leaving till september. atb for the season
