  1. thats what i thought. so where do i stand with taking it home, do i let it rot or live off the land? Only problem might be if plod what to know where it came from you might want to have your farmer "on side" so to speak how likely are you to get pulled though? not extremely likely but you never know. the farmer would be on my side
  2. if there is terriers and written permission for foxes i suppose it would go in my favour. when beating the deer go everywhere and i cant stop the dog from giving chase

  4. yeah i kno i went off a bit there, its one of those or watch it suffer which im betting is the way to keep you out legal
  5. I have permission to shoot foxes from the farmer. As it is rough patchy ground i use my shotgun and my lurcher and terriers to flush for me. There is a few roe on my permission aswell that I try to steer clear of but is harder done than said. Say a roe gets up in front of my lurcher while flushing and she catches it. By the time I get to it shock has set in and there is no saving it so I have to dispatch of it humanly. Now it is a total waste and not very noble to leave the deer lying so if I take it home. If I am stopped with the police where do I stand? I was clearly carrying out pest contro

  19. A lot were very good fox dogs beddys can be as hard as nails. Since when were bullxs 100% fox killers ive seen some that wouldnt mix it with a fox, one even jacked and was shown up by a whippet that held its ground. Not having a go at bullxs but no breed is 100%. very true mate i was just meaning a generalisation, most people who want to do foxes go for bull crosses, not everyone tho. if you wanted a fox dog pre-ban would you have picked a beddy cross or bull cross
  20. were they single dogs or did they need to b doubled up to kill them outright?
  21. How did the first cross bedlington greyhound fair against foxes pre ban? Were they up to the job of being 100% fox killers like the bull xs. Any pics of the bedlington greyhounds would b good
  22. a terrier without a docked tail does not look right I hear this so often! And evertime I do I think "what the f**k has looks got to do with anything?"... some people want there dogs to look good aswell as be a grafter, there is no rule that says its either one or the other
