  1. Hi there I wonder if anyone can help here, I use my terrier for flushing and beating to the shotgun but tend to pick n choose which cover to go onto. They are probably just following there nose but I want them to go through stuff regardless if they think nothing is there. Has any one got any advice or training tips? Much appreciated

  4. bud i wouldn't get too upset bout it, shes only a pup and only wants to play, if you start making things a chore your pissing against the wind at that age,in saying that you could built frustration in the pup for the object, teasing her with the ball but dont let her have it, and to do that properly you need to restrict other exciting avenues in the pups life, free roaming, following scents whatever it is ,that floats her boat,,for a few days anyway,, there is a couple of other things going on too , the pup may not have developed enough drive at that age to become fixated on ball play , bu

  17. its a breeding i have been thinking about lately so im glad this thread has been started. the bull crosses are more popular now but in my opinion i think you would get better hunters from bedlington crosses.
  18. you have had your question answered about 5 times TAKE YOUR DOGS HOME FIRST, THEN GO BACK FOR THE DEER WITHOUT THEM read the question again!! am i breaking the law?? well technically no but you no deer are on the land, you no your dogs are capable of killing them, your armed with a shotgun not a rifle so it would be against you to prove otherwise just carry on regardless and worry about it when the time comes but one thing i would say is to take the dogs home and go back for the deer later thanks mate, advice heeded

  20. the answer im looking for is " is it legal to take the deer home if i can prove i did not intentially set out to catch deer?"
  21. if there is terriers and written permission for foxes i suppose it would go in my favour. when beating the deer go everywhere and i cant stop the dog from giving chase get a beagle or a rifle and put some high seats up then if you cant figure it out yourself, maybe you shouldnt be doing it i dont want a high seat beagle or rifle, i want my lurcher n terriers to flush to me
