if earthwork intrests you (i think the seed has been planted now) i would get out with some terrier guys on digs and see how its done and what it involves mate. youll get to see the highs and lows if your out enough and what can happen. then decide if you want YOUR dog to be doing it and if so if i was you i would bring in another terrier that you will use for earthwork. personaly i wouldnt use a family pet. keep that for fun days out ratting, rabbits and mooching about because if anything happens to it (and theres a good chance it might) everyone in the house will blame you lol

i didnt think anyone would dig a fox then let it go. it just goes to show that not all dogmen are bloodthirsty killers like they are portrayed in the press

When you were out lamping for foxes pre ban what methods did you use for lamp shy foxes? Round our way everyone was lamping them but not killing enough so they were very hard to call in. Was there any other alternative methods other than squeaking that worked for you? Atb
