go down to mevagissey in cornwall and stay in the fountain pub go out on the bessie v always do ok catching some nice fish bring them back to the pubwhere the lanlord cooks them up cant beat it ! If you cant get on Bessie, try the Aquila, Chris the skipper, top man. Cheers, D. been on both bats and yes chris is a top man but his boats not as comfortable !

went to the pen this morning about 40 birds outside something must of spooked them? any good deterents for buzzards/sparrowhawks ?cheers

just wandered how evryones poults are doing any losses due to the weather/foxes etc ours seemed to hve settled in ok still early days yet,and still trying to get out to sort foxes as fields havnt bee cut yet!

what are people using for water supply and drinkers on their shoots?need to sort something out for 500 acres cheaply ,a gamekeeper friend said he digs holes and puts thick plastic in like small shallow pond ,whats youre thoughts on this and anyone have any cheap ideas /cheers

go for yellow as the blacks dont work I wish people who have an obvious lack of knowledge and experience on working dogs would keep there opinions to themselves when newcomers are asking for genuine advice, the last thing they need is to be ill advised.
