anybody got a spare call bird in the stansted essex area yet?

now that the season is over just wandered how much feeding shoots are doing,do you carry on feeding the same amount or are you only feeding certain areas and why?

as the title says how often do you check the same earths if dug or if not dug?

have noticed one of my terriers has been rubbing her ear so checked it over and it looks like thrush or coldsore any thoughts on what it could be was going to put some surolan in her ear (for fungal infections ear mites etc)is this a good idea?

weve got a new drive this season ,one of the highest points in essex (cold and windy) ,were just trying to sort out what cover to put down probaly grasses of some sort on the outside and maize on the inside just wandered what other shoots are using on windy cold spots and that are holding their birds?

we seem to get through feed alot quicker with the spirals leaking and animals feeding of them so prefer the pan -

Was only working in them though Was offered a full time job in The Mount, but no way I could have handled being locked up for 9 hour a day. what were u working as inwoodhill is paddy dave the maintenance man still there ?

i normally go but im shooting instead but my mrs and kids will be there you can follow on foot make sure you get ther early so you can get parked !
