  7. Yeah not a bad lamp. Very little spread, just a nice direct tight beam. Had a few interested asking if it can be mounted to a rifle. Its really not suitable for rifle more for lamping with dog or if out with a mate with a gun. face diameter is 5"
  8. There is also a clip on charger for the battery
  9. I am selling my Cyclops lamp and battery It has had very little use and is in excellent condition Both the battery have been used for approx 50 hours Cables are directly connected it also has a Ciggy connection Battery is 12v 7amph worth £70 Selling for £40 inc postage £35 if collected
  10. Welsh, i will be putting my old mans granitor to my bitch in about six months if that's any help. My dada has only done rabbit and mine has done all. Pups should be pretty leggy as my bitch is 17" tts but nice narrow ribcage.
  11. I love it how people take the piss on these forums. Eastmids I did put IMO. I have got a 1/2 greyhound 2/8 whippet 1/8 saluki she catches everytime she runs on game whatever it may then we get home and sucks my balls I think she is great IMO. I have had 2 nuttals, ft x Russell and 2 short legged russells. They all have good and bad points. Why are bedlingtons introduced into whippet and greyhound and whippet blood? For there speed, tenacity and nose. Like I said good and bad bits to every dog my dogs do exactly what I want of them so they are good for me and I ain't on here to suck terrier m
  12. I have worked 2 beds over the last 15 years and both were/is crackers above and below. my first beddy was a 3/4 cross fell which was just nuts all the time he was a small type only 15" tts so lacked the real power of a slightly larger dog but was very game, unfotunatley i lost him at 7 years old with liver failure. I now have a pure gutchcommon bitch 18 monyhs old with superb history, jester of gutchcommon, the mad ratter to name a few. she is quite a leggy bitch but with a really good narrow rib cage perfect for earth work. she is mega chilled out until she is worked then just has a one tra
  13. Yeah my little russel is a funny little sod. She attacks the hoover, shits herself at the lawn mower, nails anything that moves thats furry. weirdo little thing. but game
  14. Yes Parksie it is a stoke accent you can hear lol. it looks like you have paid way over the top for the bundy tube mate....if anyone needs cheap bits go to www.BES.co.uk they sell all the stuff like fittings, tube etc. I am now using brake fluid with a touch of baby oil to make a very dense and nasty smoke. I realise strimmer engines seems to have better bolting properties, the reason for this is the toxicity of the fumes and nothing else. Like humans if you sat in an enclosed space with engine fumes it would kill you so you would try to escape unless you were trying to do yourself in.
  15. It looks as though gear oil or motor oil could be the way as they both have a very high flashpoint. Will post my results
  16. I totally agree with you about the oil it does need to be non flammable but veg oil was all I had at the time of video. But I must say the reason the rats don't bolt as easy as with a strimmer engine is because it isn't toxic. I will be trying cheap 5/10 motor oil next and ensure I keep the temp down then it won't light. When the unit has been on for 5 minutes and you can turn the flame down it doesn't flare up like when it's first lit. I wasn't ripping anything apart I just had an issue with the price as with many others.
  17. I have spoken via email with Peter from Arthur carter about the smoker and all I said was that I thought the price was high for what it was hence me investigating what they are made from. He explained that what with overheads and stuff that's why they cost what they do which is fair enough. So all I have done is provided people with a tutorial on how to make one which whatever anyone says is virtually identical as I have used the same parts other than the wind shield. You will prob find that a deben ferret finder is patented and a rat smoker isn't. I congratulate Arthur carter on making one bu
  18. And I apologise for the comment regarding the two companies. Don't insult my intelligence by saying what I have made isn't as good because it is. On the official site it says not to use anything other than rat attack fluid which is IMO rubbish. Many others use sunflower oil and veg oil in theirs.
  19. A law suit for what? Doing exactly the same as they have done. Buying a weed wand a piece of perforated tube an oil can and putting it all together. If you watched the end of the video I do state that I will be trying to locate some non flammable oil. But it sure won't cost me £25 for 5 litres. I'm guessing you work for one of the two companies? So try to tell me I'm doing anything wrong my creating something that will be of use to people. The mk1 was just an American insect fogged that was rebadged as a rat smoker, correct?
  20. part 2 is still processing, i had to split the vid cus of the length
