Playing for a team like Liverpool, especially as a forward is a hiding to nothing IMHO mate, they have consistently over played and in some cases damaged beyond repair some of the best players to grace Anfield. Any proffesional athlete must look at them after a season or two and think " f**k this" ? He is a classy forward, a good player and good players want to win things which he won't be doing with Liverpool........as I said before, they used to be one of the teams that any top player would want to go to but sadly no more, they are at best a shop window.....somewhere for foreign talent to get a foothold in the EPL before being snapped up by a club where hopefully they can win some stuff.
