I do a lot of running through the wood and fields and usually take the dog with me a few times a week. He seems to love it when he's not getting under my feet!

So you think we should provide benefits for someone for the rest of there lives if they decide they don't want to work then? ??? No thats the total opposite of what i wrote!!! I said that no-one should NEED to be forced to work - ie, they should WANT to work in the first place, we shouldn't need to force them.
-
I can't remember where but i read something somewhere suggesting that until last year, the amount of money the this country spent on benefits (genuine or non-genuine) was greater than the total amount of income tax taken by the country. I hope that's not true
-
so true. there are plenty of folk with genuine disabilities and problems getting work. the spongers make the genuine needy look bad. such a shame that it was allowed to get to such a state over the last 10 years, that we need to have the big clampdown now.

Don't forget that National Service is not the same as conscription. In countries with National service (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Israel, Iran, Norway, Finland, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey) it has 2 options: Military service (forces) or Civil Service (working for council/local government). No-one should be forced to fight if they don't want to, but no-one should need to be forced to work either.

Steady on staff's riffraff! I've nothing against rotts, they are great when trained, just like most breeds, big or small. My point was about numpty owners not training/socialising their dogs. We know the owner was the problem, not the dog/breed. But the women and kids who saw it, might not know that the owner is the problem. Sadly, they might associate all big dogs with that behaviour, without realising it's the owner's fault. Hope that makes sense...

Bang one. Don't forget that half those false claimers are workshy layabouts lurking with big badly socialised status dogs (giving other dogs and dog-owners a bad name). My mate's wife is from Canada and she thought we were joking about all the benefits on offer in this country. Bring back national service: A year in the forces, or a year at the local council/government offices. Why not?

Hello I have made couple of sticks that have now finished drying. I just don't know what to use for the tip. What is the metal thing you used and where can you get them?

Ah, now if i name the breed someone is bound to misinterpret my thread and start ranting like a Jeremy Kyle guest (as i have read happen before...) Oh f#'k it, here goes.... The breed name began with an 'r' and ended with an 'r'. Seriously, though why have any dog if you can't control it, especially one that's big enough to eat your leg. Just makes the owner look like a nimrod when they dog shames them in public.

Tonight i saw a chap with a huge dog (i shan't say the breed in case someone misinterprets my post and stresses about picking on their breed, though it was black and tan and must have been 6+ stones) nearly have his shoulder dislocated by his own dog barking and pulling in a bid to get a fat lab tied up outside the newsagent. The guy could not control his dog and it damn near dragged him over the car park trying to get at the lab. I'd not be surprised if he is at the physio tomorrow morning. There were kids and women nearby who looked absolutely terrified at it slobbering and barking. Shame,

So what was your previous user name ? Cheers. now that would be telling So just another stirrer hiding behind a false user name ..yawn ... Council estates aren't the problem, it's so-called 'hardmen' with status dogs. If they found a job rather than lurking about trying to impress 15y old girls the country'd be a better place. Mind you, there are plenty of 'hardmen' with status dogs all over the place, not just on council estates. Anyone can be a prick: Black or white, rich or poor, young or old, etc. Either way, they give dogs a bad name due to their misguided id

If you train them right then they'll be good workers, simple. yes they will be trained right Its all about the training. My pal has a yorkie and norfolk terrier and puts them down a warren like ferrets. Its in all dogs somewhere, just takes longer to find and train in some than in others due to their history (ie kc and showponies etc). good luck with the crosses complete shite It has to be a lie in order to be 'complete shite' you numbnut. Seeing as its not a lie, then it can't be 'complete shite'. Anyway, you mustn't over-interpret any post on he

Just don't give him a dead one, let him chase the live ones instead

Its a good pic of a deer but it can't be fully wild. Anyone who has ever seen a wild deer knows that. They hear and smell you long before you even know they're there; you usually only see their arse end from a furlong or two away as they leg it. Most likely it was a wild deer that got injured and cared for by someone, hence it became human friendly and static. So neither wild nor domestic, i reckon.

Do you have a number for that fine filly? 0800 fat fat fat just tried and that number is a dud , now i'm all worked up with no-one to phone . you teaser you

?!? You've missed my point: My post states why THEY did what they did. Not whether i agree or disagree. I was empathising with their point of view, not sympathising with it. If i missed your point then i apologise. thants the problem replying on a night shift. These are basically poorly bred crosses from the indian sub continent, if i wanted a dog fighting dog then apbt all the way, anything else would not cut it. As for a status symbol dog, i'd rather get a job and move from the ghetto... Don't worry about it Don't work too hard on those night shifts, i've heard they can be
