    Well lads, from the horses mouth, I'm here now an theyve done Jack squat about the mud so far! But I doubt traders will be going home tonight because the only way any traders are getting off is bein towed by a tractor an all the tractors av gone home so it looks like were all ere till the bitter end! I can say 1 thing though, I aint seen so many fat fanny lickin dogs at a game fair in a long time! If the weather holds off tonight you should be ok tomorrow. Atb Sam

    A DOGS NOSE IS MAYBE THE MOST SENSITIVE PARTS OF IT'S ANATOMY AND IS THE DOGS ESSENTIAL SENSE WHEN WORKING IN THE DARK, A FLICK OR TAP ON A DOGS NOSE WOULD BE LIKE A FLICK OR TAP ON YOUR GONADS AND WE ALL KNOW HOW SORE THAT IS, HITTING A DOG DOESN'T DETER IT, IT JUST ALTERS THE DOGS PERSONALITY. I agree that hitting a dog hard on its nose would change it's personality but when I said "smacking" in meant to give it a short sharp shock - as Col_c88 said, to take its mind off something.     Paulus ......point taken Thanks fox_hunter ill take a look. On the double peg nets, I've used them when ferreting before and they seem to do the job. it keeps the net exactly were you put it and as a few people have said, they purse easier and less likely to open ATB Sam

    Anyone know where I can get fox net under £12 a net. Never bothered before but thought they might come in handy in places that are difficult to shoot. I almost fell off my perch when I saw how much they where considerin ferretin nets are a couple of quid each. ATB Sam

    Hi Mate. I would try and get him out and have ferret in your hand and every time he looks interested or goes for a sniff then deter him by either smacking him on the nose or shouting at him and do it over and over again. I don't know about anyone else on here but I have a russell bitch that I can use for rabbiting, squirells, rats and foxes and even though she is fine with ferrets up close, dogs eyesight ain't as good as ours and accidents can happen so if I'm out ferreting the dogs are on the terriers are on the leads when the ferret is down a hole.     Yh i do mainly go out after i done the tea n shes in bed i never jus go n leave her but she still aint happy n thats [bANNED TEXT] she moans about but i say u wont know the differance you are asleep n thats what does my head in so much theres no inbetween lol.
