  1. I'm agree with big Paul, BSA lightning is a great starter gun, good power and decent accuracy for a springer. I have one that I use when I feel like switching things up a bit (pcp almost feels like cheating to me at times lol). I think I payed about 180 quid for mine second hand about 3 years ago, so I'm sure you could get one for much less now. As big Paul said, they tune up easily, I put a gas ram in mine, and can highly recommend this upgrade, makes the gun much nicer to fire.
  2. Hi thanks for the warm welcome I don't have any hunting dogs, I do have a 6 year old staffy, but he is daft as a brush lol. I joined the forums as I enjoy to hunt with my air rifles, also I enjoy offloading in my 4x4 and general outdoor / country pursuits. Although in saying that, hunting dogs do appeal to me but it isn't something I have looked in to before.
