    sure its all the same wer talking about hunting not geography i have said before,lord mares in north ireland are poor don,t know why maybe they don,t get run enough,best are in south ireland east side strong animals,west side of ireland poor enough. there were that poor u used b known as the the bush wakers until 4 years ago until u learned t hunt right bushwakers.

    checked on internet looked a class show some real nice dogs think a lad from north won overall show with big brindle lurcher check the internet its on there from armagh or tyrone i think dont quote e on that not sure some real nice terriers aswell some good dogs on there really top show but would liked to have seen a good working whippet class

    he,s lurcher to lurcher cross. i asked yea when yea breed these two yea had it on here aswell .what way is the dog breed if yer not allowed say thats ok but yea cant keep saying saluki / greyhound their not and yer just leaving yer self open for a slagging bred of a sister of jm shamrock which were bred of irish lady to captians brother.sire was bred of a casper bred dog.:thumbs:ps slagging on here no way good enough breeding in them irish lady seams to be in all the good dogs in ireland

    why so much stick for asking a simple question most of you,s never seen a good whippet on a fox but others have and swear by them.not out and out fox dogs but surley every thing does not have to have bull in it.

    good looking dogs not very marked.what do you call them. hairy dogs hide marks very well especially in bloddy june when they aint been worked your right mate. i dont think he has a clue what hes on about havnt seen any of his dogs up here yet. and if he wants ill meet him in any field any where and let the dogs do the talking see then if hes anything to say f*****g asshole why you not away to show with them mutts another asshole when you going out again sunday get some pic,s of them working or in the show ring.

    Obviously not been out with whippets enough then. Cus i know they can do the job. Well they use to (preban ovcorse I've seen pure whippets preban take a fox - the runs I've seen have been a bit of a battle tho. My whip/grey can take an average size one no probs - the biggest one she came across was 26lb dog fox(biggest one I've ever seen too!) though and it was a tough job for her - but saying about heart - she didn't give up. (preban!) are these ped whippets? if so they must be foxes with there teeth pulled have you a dog to kill a fox if so what cross are they any bull in the

    think about it and you get what you asking of a whippet a decent size dog fox would be a contest for any normal size whippet to take on and unless the whippet was clued up on them its going to get nasty injuries to head andface with the out come not being a sure thing as far as killing the fox is concerned and could even end up giving your whippet a pasteing get a larger cross horses for courses get a bull cross mate watch the vermin get knocked over for fun any bull crosses i seen are lead around by boys in track suits or f*****g drug dealers trying to impress there girl friends :whistl

    Right, first we're talking dogs not people so an example using a totally different species is a wee bit pointless, there are plenty of small things that can kill big things, i accept that. In this case though we're talking a dog and fox, which when it comes to being two different species they are actually in build and 'weaponry' etc are actually fairly evenly matched. Now the question was not, could a spoon fed, house whippet who is pampered by and old lady, kill a fox? It was could a whippet kill one?
