  1. My mate got one on his mk4 mate, it is quieter than a hw with a pellet in it. It's couple of inches shorter too...about inch or so off the actual shroud, an inch or so off the actual silencer bit ..an looks about million times better. If your keeping the gun , get one..if not they are expensive..so think about that lol
  2. You will find once you got the one. You end up gaining a fair bit like..I think because you know u got a perm already, you don't try so.hard an end up more relaxed lol but anyway, good luck.
  3. What .20 do u wan? My mate got a mk1 .20 block there now mate, just needs probes which u can get from RAW for about 20 quid , let me know. Block is in mint con
  4. Mine does 660fps with 11.4 h&n , can barely notice it to a mate's hw100 .177 as travel to target time goes lol whereas, .22 an .177 there's a delay
  5. ..ps, I have neither so isn't or wasn't a bias comment
  6. Don't forget you can convert hw100 to buddy bottle, went out with my mates today lol mental it is, think it cost 180 to do..
  7. I give up with the defiants etc, iv tried three diff head sizes in .177 , plus the ogive...couldn't group on half an a4 paper at 20yards.. ..everyone iv been talking to lately are all for .20 now..
  8. Hey mate, you asked opinions, I have mine. An i gave it. Their really good guns if they been tuned, an the odd good one here an there...look up reviews of people with them. Mk2s ain void of leaks an jammin either. Like I said, could just be how people treat theirs..but my mates was two months old before he sent it to jb for full tune, because out of the two months, he probably had it no more than a week..
  9. Iv owned a huntsman an was really good. Iv shot a few of my mates hw, an they too are really good. I currently own a rapid ,an can never see me getting rid. Iv shot a mate's r10mk2 an wasn't impressed, untill he spent 200 quid odd on it..then it was a good reliable gun. I know a boy who also owned two r10s , both shite ie, leak after leak, jamming etc .. an I know another lad who owned r10 an didn like it, now has a hw100 an he is in love lol I know another boy with yet another r10 an that to was fooked...but saying that I have a Bsa ultra se, an it ain't fooked up yet...but iv had mine from N
  10. Well happy with it 5p group with h&n ftt 35-yrds. Out tomorrow hopefully bag some crows an squirrels
  11. If I were you I'd buy a hw100 or huntsman, an a 300bar 7ltr dive bottle if the gun has to be new. Or you could buy a rapid but you would need to import from USA
  12. Google perfect pellet or pellet perfect...you can buy like packs of 30 pellets off there for 1 quid odd
  13. I had panorama, very clear great field of view. But the ao was way out, I found the blue ret "for daytime " they say was totally crap. Couldn't see no illumination. Better at night. I now have a mtc lite. Slightly clearer, feels abit better built an the ao is more precise. But if I were to get another Hawke at that price, it would definitely be that scope again..
  14. I don't know what it was but my huntsman had it, an the new ultra I picked up, the crud that came out, gunky stuff like lol groups improved no end. My Diana didn settle down untill about 3-4 tins I think...absolutely lovely to shoot then
  15. Jsb, aa, fx, superdome, superfield, would be a good place to start. Front on shots, like shooting between the eyes, it is a rumor pellets deflect off there forehead..how true I'm not sure. Stick some bottle tops out at diff ranges out to about 45yrds, see if you can hit 5/5. I think jsb deliver the best whack in any gun iv owned, .177. An a mate's mk4 .177 using jsb whacks too f.p. good luck. P.s pellet testing is a twat, but once you found it , you'll be well impressed with the tx
  16. I would always recommend cleaning a new barrel with a pull through as they coat inside to stop rusting while sat around. Say about 50-100 shots depends on type of pellet, soft or hard...springers take a while to bed in.
  17. Try a softer type of pellet, accupel are quiet hard and don't distort on impact as much. I take it you know where to aim? Down from ear , in line with the eye. Try to avoid front on shots too. Atb
  18. Saying that , with daystate 13.89gr, at about 70yrds it was 3mildot on x6 I think...
  19. The hitting power is incredible. And with the h&n very little difference hold etc. I was lucky to have a mate who had a mk1 .20 cal, an saw me have difficulty sourcing barrel and probes, so he sold me them off his lol and went and bought a mfr .20 cal then, so I give him hand sorting the mfr out , an we going to build the mk1 back up lol I love rapids, an I love .20 cal, just hope I can bag few things with it now...and I got another perm coming too shortly lambing season :)
  20. got myself a nice mk1 screw cut .20 cal barrel and probes off a mate to convert my mfr from 177. before this i used my mates mk1 .20 set up, and loved it. finally getting out on the weekend, saturday for range time, sunday out on a few of my permissions to see what is about, last trip the squirrels were running all around us lol fingers crossed
  21. I'm not to sure on the trigger u got, but I could show you how to fit the seals if u want, I live in Pontypridd
  22. Mate your better of spending 4 quid on the bay for service kit an do it yourself..it will take about 10minutes
