  1. Iv had one now , just before Christmas. The only thing il say is even if a certain pellet may be accurate in it, the mag might not like them . Found jsb an aa field to be 5p groups an under to 35 yrds. Can't find anything else to gripe about it. Although I would like a tune up. Just because I can. Lol
  2. Yes I know their studded, but didn think they would be good enough lol cheers for the replies
  3. thinking about applying for FAC tomorow, but want to iron out a few things. i live in a new build, and the walls are plasterboard. There is no solid wall in the house. surely im not the only one with this problem, so how would i go about fixing a cabinet to a wall, that ist sufficient enough?atb
  4. I do it for a living, for pest control, for sport, for conservation, for the love of hounds, for the working terrier and because it's my way of life almost every decision I make in life is biased by hunting. As I stated before I have no problem with fox control of any means and no problem with Keepers/Farmers etc looking after their livelihoods it's just the pointless killing that slightly annoys me fair one. i know exactly the type you mean, the "my dog iz 'ard" brigade lol
  5. I know what your saying..but he shouldnt be saying he's out for doing pure pest control with the hounds when he is saying its sport in the same comment.
  6. Iv heard a lot of sport being mentioned. Leveller goes on to say that the wannabes have no right to be out because its not a form of pest control, its just seeing what can be had. But in next breath you say the riflemen ruin your sport? So which is it you do it for? For pest control or sport? Because the people out "seeing what can be had" is just same as "sport"..totally different to actual pest control if you ask me, and I'm sure you would all agree.
  7. Mqlc got banned for saying good things about jb
  8. You sure you got the right pellet for hw
  9. lamping hares is illegal and reading some of your posts i think your full of it isit because you wanted to be blackgreyhound? lol
  10. You might find your better off with no reg. But I can pm you number if you like.
  11. You really starting to gel with it now aren't you! yes mate. I love it, hit a pigeon yestday in the neck/napper, the noise on it an the mess lol it done a rolly Polly outta the tree lol paced it out at about 45 large paces. Iv been slinging loads of lead through it out plunking if its quiet, or at the range an iv really got used to scope/gun/pellet lol
  12. A brand new 95k from sportsman is cheap
  13. Lol...as if you would stay there when seeing a pigeon drop, lol
  14. Lol to be honest no pcp/ Springer is innaccurate these days, even the cheap shit will put 5-10p groups at 30-40 yrds...just personal preference, ie shot count, handling, and budget...so go for what you like, most are relatively reliable too
  15. I do some range work when I take the nipper down there, I have .20 cal, an my groups are just as small as .177 , obviously a single pellet hole isn't a realistic group.. but .20 comes into its own where hunting is concerned, if u ask me.
  16. Surely some of them with parts off another one will work bud? Good gesture, but might be worth your time fixing a couple up first, an if they are Harris, sell them for 15 an put it in a charity yourself. Atb
  17. I didn mean it funny, just asked if u had, as I found out different that's all. Most of the r10s I'm talking about were the mk2 ..not sure about the vc , they suppose to have a diff reg etc I think..
  18. Btw si, I tried aa field in it, 4.52. It loves them...think the two main pellets now for it il stick to either jsb or aa field.
  19. Benji, I know loads of lads who had r10s with countless problems. Problem after problem too... I have an ultra se, an can't fault it as of yet...have u experienceed all three guns? I have shot loads, and each have been accurate, r10 being the least reliable .. between the 400 an ultra its hard to pull mine an the one I shot apart ..I feel the Bsa felt chunkier, abit more robust, but both got good build quality ..
  20. Ye, I would never pay 100 quid lol good on u for sharing
  21. They sell this too, about 100 quid lol iscope its called
  22. Benji same happend when I had my huntsman, concentrated more on not banging it than hunting with it...now I have a rapid I'm not scared to bump lol
  23. I rate mtc scope with scb ret. I also rate the ultra, I have one here in .177 , might send it off for abit of love soon lol can feel abit of bounce, an its low powered ish...but accurate as anything out there ...
  24. If I was you I'd get a nice rapid for 500-600 , and mtc mamba scopes. These guns are self serviceable with ease, service kits can be had for 1.50 lol so only need a good Allen key kit an adjustable spanners and its fixed in minutes in field. Pretty lightweight my mfr is. Accurate as any other pcp out there.
