Still plenty working lakelands out there as I said I have a family history of them for many years all worked , And kept around close friends ..alot of people may own or have owned a working lakeland but to breed for years and have a decent success is a bit different....but hey the so called dog men on here say they dont exist ....

Working lakelands do still exist it's just knowing the correct people who work them and breed them for work .. could go back more than 30+ years with mine

Wilbur I am doing it around about 4.30pm to 5.30pm and by the latter it is very dark. Is this what you mean by evening flight?? By the 5.30pm can barely see anything and all I can do is listen for them and hope for a flight across an visible break of skyline..iv seen me sitting and all I hear is the splash of them landing in the puddle..p.s no I don't shoot them.. I try make a noise to get them up .. no sport in shooting them off the water.

Hi has anybody else ever had continuous faults with these make of wellies.. I have had 3 pair and they all have been faulty with glue seperated from sole at the heel these 3 pair were from all different suppliers and I have had 2 pair refunded and one I got cash refund. 2 of my refunded pair have done exact same if the glue is dried out and coming apart .. I am past my warranty with them... does anybody know who I could contact to get this problem addressed .. Thanks

Had a good 45 mins tonight at the splash and it was mostly teal that come in... only one mallard came in and I dropped it .. dropped 4 teal but could only find 3 as I don't use a dog .. just to say that them teal are bloody hard birds to shoot at near dark ... but had a good time ... all hard work pays off.. starting to get a pattern of when there mostly on the splash due to my trial cam ..

Hi jok I know there is a few ponds a few miles away that get fed and shot.. and a fishery very close.. I don't use a hide I just sit in tight on a break in the hedge line with a ghillie suit on .. and I don't take any dogs with me.. I will have a look at my camera at the weekend and see what's happening for better results . I will also take some more pics for more help from you guys .. Cheers

I would say yes it is but could be sinking to bottom of pool.. Where is muddy and when walk in it . It disturbs the bottom and then can't see.. I'm thinking of putting up a trail Camara to find out

OK lads I have been And feeding the pond every second morning at 5.30am .. And there has not been one duck on it at that time in morning. The last time I shot it I only got one.. To be fair I only got one shot but wasn't the best of nights for it... Do yous think they have moved on

HI jok I went and fed the water this morn there was only a handful. Of mallard on it.. But the pond had froze.. Would this make the numbers deteriate
